صحت کے شعبے کی اسکیموں پر کام کو تیز کرنے کی ضرورت ہے: اسد عمر
وفاقی وزیر برائے منصوبہ بندی ، ترقیات اور خصوصی اقدامات اسد عمر نے کہا ہے کہ صحت کے شعبے سے متعلق منظوری والی اسکیموں پر کام کو تیز کرنے کی ضرورت ہے تاکہ رہائشیوں کو گھروں کے قریب طبی سہولیات تک رسائی حاصل ہو۔
اسد عمر وزارت قومی صحت کی خدمات کے تحت جاری ترقیاتی منصوبوں کا جائزہ لینے کے لئے ایک اجلاس کی صدارت کر رہے تھے۔ وزیر اعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے سی ڈی اے علی نواز اعوان ، سیکرٹری منصوبہ بندی ، سیکرٹری صحت اور اعلی حکام نے اجلاس میں شرکت کی۔
وفاقی سیکرٹری صحت نے وزیر کو اسلام آباد کیپیٹل ہیلتھ اسٹریٹجی ، نیز 200 بستروں پر مشتمل اسپتال ، پولی کلینک میں توسیع اور دارالحکومت کے علاقے میں بی ایچ یو سے آگاہ کیا۔
اسد عمر نے ہدایت کی کہ وزارت پبلک سیکٹر ڈویلپمنٹ پروگرام (پی ایس ڈی پی) 2020-21 کے ذریعے دستیاب فنڈز کے موثر اور مکمل استعمال کو یقینی بنائے۔
انہوں نے سکریٹری صحت کو ہدایت کی کہ ماہانہ پیشرفت جائزہ اجلاس منعقد کریں تاکہ یہ یقینی بنایا جاسکے کہ ہیلتھ سیکٹر ڈویلپمنٹ پورٹ فولیو کو بروقت عمل میں لایا جائے۔
Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar said that work on approved health sector schemes needs to be accelerated so that residents have access to medical facilities closer to their homes.
Asad Umar led a meeting to review the Ministry of National Health Services’ ongoing development projects. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant to CDA Ali Nawaz Awan, the Secretary for Planning, the Secretary for Health and senior officials.
The Federal Minister of Health informed the minister about the capital health strategy of Islamabad as well as about a 200-bed hospital, a polyclinic extension and BHUs in the capital region.
Asad Umar instructed the ministry to ensure the effective and full use of funds available under the 2020-21 public sector development program (PSDP).
He instructed the Minister of Health to organize monthly progress review meetings to ensure that the health sector development portfolio was implemented in a timely manner.
