A Meeting of the Federal Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister in which the Federal Cabinet expressed concern over non-implementation of SOPs by the people. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the country could not afford any more lockdowns.
The Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Information to launch a full-fledged awareness campaign and urged the people to adhere to SOPs and take precautionary measures. Sources said that Asim Saleem Bajwa, Special Assistant for Information, sought funds for the awareness campaign, at which the Prime Minister directed the concerned ministries to provide funds for advertisements.

وزیراعظم کی زیرصدارت وفاقی کابینہ کا اجلاس ہوا جس میں وفاقی کابینہ نے لوگوں کے ذریعہ ایس او پیز کے نفاذ پر تشویش کا اظہار کیا۔ وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے کہا کہ ملک مزید لاک ڈاؤن کا متحمل نہیں ہوسکتا۔
وزیر اعظم نے وزارت اطلاعات کو ایک بھر پور آگاہی مہم چلانے کی ہدایت کی اور لوگوں کو ایس او پیز پر عمل پیرا ہونے اور احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کرنے کی تاکید کی۔ ذرائع نے بتایا کہ معاون خصوصی برائے اطلاعات عاصم سلیم باجوہ نے آگاہی مہم کے لئے فنڈز طلب کیے ، جس پر وزیر اعظم نے متعلقہ وزارتوں کو اشتہاروں کے لئے فنڈز کی فراہمی کی ہدایت کی۔
