In Washington, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani met with US President Joe Biden, which was also attended by Afghan Chairman of the Reconciliation Commission, Abdullah Abdullah. The two leaders discussed the situation after the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said that he paid tribute to the 2,448 Americans who made sacrifices, but now US-Afghanistan relations are entering a new phase and we are committed to unity and harmony.
US President Joe Biden said that the future of Afghanistan is in the hands of Afghans but they will continue their cooperation with Afghanistan even after the withdrawal of troops.
