افتتاحی کھیل کے موقع پر الزامات سامنے آنے کے بعد کوئٹہ گلیڈی ایٹرز کے آدمی پر اس سال کے پاکستان سپر لیگ (پی ایس ایل) میں شرکت پر بھی پابندی عائد کردی گئی تھی کہ انہوں نے اینٹی کرپشن کوڈ کی خلاف ورزی کی ہے۔
اکمل کو بعد میں کسی بھی کھیل میں ہیرا پھیری کی کوششوں کی اطلاع نہ دینے پر قصوروار پایا گیا ، اور ایک ڈسپلنری کمیٹی نے بیٹسمین پرتین سال کی پابندی عاءد کر دی تھی۔

Justice (retd) Faqir Muhammad Khokhar announced the decision on the appeal filed by the cricketer.
The right-hander will now be eligible to play in 2021.
The Quetta Gladiators man was also banned from participating in this year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) after allegations surfaced during the opening game that he had violated the anti-corruption code.
Akmal was later found guilty of failing to report any manipulation attempts in any sport, and a disciplinary committee banned the batsman for three years.
