Two officials from the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi were instructed to leave the country within 24 hours of being declared “persona non grata”. The Federal Foreign Office has strongly condemned India’s attempt to expel Pakistani diplomats from India and described them as “undesirable”.

نئی دہلی میں پاکستانی ہائی کمیشن کے دو عہدیداروں کو ہدایت کی گئی تھی کہ وہ “ذاتی طور پر نان گریپا” قرار دینے کے 24 گھنٹوں کے اندر اندر ملک چھوڑ دیں۔ دفتر خارجہ نے پاکستانی سفارتکاروں کو بھارت سے بے دخل کرنے کی ہندوستان کی کوشش کی شدید مذمت کی ہے اور اسے “ناپسندیدہ” قرار دیا ہے۔
عائشہ فاروقی ترجمان دفتر خارجہ نے اس اقدام کی شدید مذمت کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ وہ بھارتی میڈیا میں پاکستان مخالف پروپیگنڈے کا حصہ ہیں۔ عائشہ فاروقی نے کہا کہ نئی دہلی میں پاکستانی اہلکاروں کو اغوا کیا گیا ، تشدد کیا گیا ، دباؤ ڈالا گیا ، اور دھمکی دی گئی کہ وہ جھوٹے الزامات عائد کرنے کے الزامات کو قبول کریں گے۔ عائشہ نے بتایا کہ بعد میں پاکستانی ہائی کمیشن کی مداخلت کے بعد ان اہلکاروں کو رہا کردیا گیا ، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ بھارتی اقدام قابل مذمت اور ویانا کنونشن اور سفارتی آداب کی خلاف ورزی ہے۔
