اسلام آباد: وزیر اعظم نے پٹرول کی کمی اور ذخیرہ اندوزی کی تحقیقات کے لئے خصوصی معاون برائے توانائی ، شہزاد سید قاسم کی سربراہی میں چار رکنی تحقیقاتی کمیٹی تشکیل دی ۔
میڈیا نے بتایا کہ کمیٹی 10 جولائی تک ملک میں تیل کی فراہمی میں بد انتظامی کی تحقیقات مکمل کرے گی۔ کمیٹی بحران کے دوران اوگرا ، وزارت پیٹرولیم اور نجی تیل کمپنیوں کے کردار کی جانچ کرے گی اور اس بات کا تعین کرے گی کہ بحران سے کس کو فائدہ ہوا۔
اس میں مٹی کے تیل کمپنیوں اور پٹرول پمپوں کے ذخیرہ اندوزی اور پٹرولیم سیکٹر میں مالکان کے مابین تعلقات کے امکانات کا بھی جائزہ لیا جائے گا۔
کمیٹی گیس کی درآمدات اور دستیابی پر پٹرولیم مصنوعات پر قیمتوں میں کمی کے اثرات کے بارے میں بھی رپورٹ کرے گی۔ پچھلے سال کے مقابلہ میں اس سال پٹرول کی دستیابی کی تفصیلات بھی منظرِعام پر لائے گی۔ اس کے علاوہ ، کمیٹی اس طرح کے بحران سے بچنے کے لئے ایک بار پھر حکمت عملی تیار کرے گی۔
تحقیقات کے ڈی جی میں ڈی جی آئل ، سابق جی ایم پی ایس او اور پیٹرولیم انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف پاکستان کے سربراہ بھی شامل ہیں۔
ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister has constituted a four-member inquiry committee headed by Special Assistant for Energy, Shehzad Syed Qasim to probe the shortage and stockpiling of petrol.
The committee will complete its investigation into the country’s oil supply mismanagement by July 10, media reported. The committee will examine the role of OGRA, the Ministry of Petroleum and private oil companies during the crisis and determine who benefited from the crisis.
It will also look at the storage of kerosene companies and petrol pumps and the possibility of a relationship between the owners in the petroleum sector.
The committee will also report on the impact of lower prices on petroleum products on gas imports and availability. Compared to last year, details of petrol availability this year will also be revealed. In addition, the committee will once again develop strategies to avoid such a crisis.
The DG of the investigation also includes DG Oil, former GMPSO and head of the Petroleum Institute of Pakistan.
