نیب نے نواز ، زرداری کے خلاف مقدمات میں پیشرفت کا جائزہ لیا
قومی احتساب بیورو (نیب) نے سابق وزیر اعظم نواز شریف اور سابق صدر آصف علی زرداری کے خلاف نیب کے چیئرمین جسٹس (ر) جاوید اقبال کی زیرصدارت اجلاس کے دوران بدعنوانی کے مقدمات میں پیشرفت کا جائزہ لیا۔
ترجمان نیب کے مطابق اجلاس میں نیب کی مجموعی کارکردگی کا بھی جائزہ لیا گیا۔ ترجمان نے مزید بتایا کہ اس نے اعلان کیا کہ مجرموں کی گرفتاری کے لئے تمام وسائل بروئے کار لائے اور لوٹی ہوئی رقم کی وصولی کے لئے احتساب عدالتوں کے منظور کردہ ضمانتوں کے خلاف اپیلیں بھی دائر کریں۔
اس موقع پر چیئرمین نیب نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا ، “اینٹی گرافٹ واچ ڈاگ سب کے لئے احتساب کی پالیسی پر عمل کرنے پر مضبوطی سے یقین رکھتا ہے۔ نیب کا کسی گروپ ، سیاسی جماعت یا فرد سے وابستگی نہیں ہے۔ بیورو کی واحد وابستگی ریاست پاکستان سے ہے۔ نیب کا فرض ہے کہ وہ میگا بدعنوانی کے مقدمات کو منطقی انجام تک پہنچانے کے علاوہ مجرموں سے لوٹی گئی رقم کی وصولی کا بھی پابند ہے۔
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) reviewed progress in the corruption cases against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former President Asif Ali Zardari during a meeting chaired by NAB Chairman Justice (ret.) Javed Iqbal.
According to the NAB spokesman, the meeting also reviewed the overall performance of the NAB. It decided to use all resources to arrest the prosecuted criminals and appeal the bail given by the accountant courts to recover the looted money, the spokesman added.
On this occasion, the NAB chair said: “The anti-graft watchdog is firmly convinced that it is pursuing an accountability policy for all. The NAB is not affiliated with any group, political party or individual. The office only belongs to the state of Pakistan. The NAB is obliged to reclaim the plundered amount from the perpetrators and to bring mega-corruption cases to a logical conclusion. “
