وزارت قومی فوڈ سیکیورٹی کے مطابق ، درآمد شدہ گندم کی پہلی کھیپ آج کراچی بندرگاہ پہنچے گی۔ آٹے میں 7 روپے فی کلو تک سستا ہونے کی توقع ہے۔
وزارت قومی فوڈ سیکیورٹی کے عہدیداروں کے مطابق 60،804 ٹن گندم پہلے جہاز سے نجی سیکٹر کے راستے بھیج دی جائے گی۔ امپورٹڈ گندم کی جانچ 26 اگست کو کی جائے گی۔
امپورٹڈ گندم کے ساتھ دوسرا جہاز 28 اگست کو کراچی پہنچے گا اور 65000 ٹن گندم لے جائے گا۔
سرکاری اعداد و شمار کے مطابق ، درآمد شدہ گندم کی بندرگاہ میں فی کلو قیمت 43 روپے ہے۔ درآمدی گندم کی پہلی دو کھیپ ملوں کو فروخت کی جائے گی۔
