بجٹ میں غیر ترقیاتی اخراجات کو کم کرنے پر توجہ دینا چاہئے، وزیر اعظم عمران خان
اسلام آباد: وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے مالیاتی مشیر کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ وہ آئندہ مالی سال کے بجٹ میں غیر ترقیاتی اخراجات کو کم کرنے پر خصوصی توجہ دیں۔
میڈیا کے مطابق ، انہوں نے اگلے مالی سال کے مجوزہ بجٹ سے متعلق ایک اعلی سطحی اجلاس میں کہا کہ صوبوں کے ساتھ مشاورت سے ترقیاتی اخراجات کے تخمینے کو حتمی شکل دی جانی چاہئے۔ عوام پر غیر ضروری سرکاری اخراجات پر بوجھ کم کرنے کے لئے ، اگلے تخمینوں میں عدم ترقی پر اخراخات کم کرنے پر خصوصی توجہ دی جانی چاہئے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ملکی ترقیاتی ضروریات کا مطالبہ ہے کہ ترقیاتی منصوبوں میں نجی شعبے بھرپور شرکت کریں ، لہذا عوامی نجی شراکت کو فروغ دینے کی اشد ضرورت ہے۔
وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ بجٹ میں کورونا وائرس کی وبا سے متاثرہ صنعتی شعبے کی بحالی ، ترقی اور سرکاری سبسڈی کے موثر استعمال کو یقینی بنانا چاہئے۔ موجودہ حکومت کے لئے صنعتی عمل کا فروغ اور ہر ممکن کاروباری سہولیات کی فراہمی اولین ترجیح ہے۔
مالیاتی مشیر ڈاکٹر عبدالحفیظ شیخ نے موجودہ مالی سال کے لئے ہونے والی آمدنی ،اخراجات اور اگلے بجٹ کے تخمینے کا خاکہ پیش کیا ، اور وزیر اعظم کو اگلے مالی سال کے بجٹ کی ترجیحات سے آگاہ کیا۔ انہوں نے وزیر اعظم کو ایف بی آر میں اصلاحات اور اب تک ہونے والی پیشرفت سے بھی آگاہ کیا۔
حکومتی نمائندوں کو بجٹ اجلاس میں شرکت کی ہدایت کی
وزیر اعظم کی زیرصدارت حکومتی ترجمانوں کا اجلاس ہوا ، جس کے دوران انہوں نے حکومت کے ارکان کو بجٹ اجلاس میں اپنی شرکت کو یقینی بنانے اور کارروائی میں حصہ لینے کی خصوصی ہدایات دیں۔ اس موقع پر ، وزیر اعظم کے مشیر ڈاکٹر بابر اعوان نے پارلیمانی امور اور بجٹ اجلاس سے متعلق بھی اہم بریفنگ دی۔
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Finance Adviser to pay special attention to reducing non-development expenditure in the budget for the next financial year.
According to media, in a high-level meeting on the proposed budget for the next financial year, he said that estimates for development expenditure should be finalized in consultation with the provinces. In order to reduce the burden of unnecessary government expenditure on the people, special attention should be paid to reduce non-development expenditure in the next budget.
He said that the development needs of the country demanded that full participation of the private sector in development projects be ensured and therefore promotion of public-private partnership was a matter of urgency.
The Prime Minister said that the budget should ensure the rehabilitation and development of the industrial sector affected by the Corona virus epidemic and the best and effective utilization of the subsidies provided by the government. Promoting the industrial process and providing all possible facilities to the business community is the top priority of the present government.
In the meeting, Finance Advisor Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh outlined the revenue and expenditure of the current financial year and estimates of the next budget and also briefed the Prime Minister on the budget priorities for the next financial year. He also briefed the Prime Minister on the progress made so far in reforming the FBR.
Government MPs directed to attend budget meeting
A meeting of government spokespersons was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister in which he issued special instructions to the government MPs to ensure their participation in the budget meeting and take part in the proceedings. On this occasion, Dr. Babar Awan, Advisor to the Prime Minister also gave an important briefing on Parliamentary Affairs and Budget Session.
