KP’s information adviser, Ajmal Wazir said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had registered 85 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the province’s number to 1,793.
During this period, 4 further COVID-19 deaths were reported, increasing the death toll to 93. Thirteen patients recovered from the infection and increased the number of people who have recovered to 485, he said during a press conference
Ajmal Wazir appealed to people to take precautions to avoid coronavirus infection and said there is still no cure for the disease. The only way to protect yourself from this is to take precautionary measures, Wazir added
Wazir stressed the need for social distancing and said that if followed, the coronavirus crisis would be over. Wazir also urged the masses to follow standard work instructions when going out and praying at home.
He also said that the government is doing everything in its power to protect people’s lives. He also paid tribute to the late Dr. Muhammad Javed, who died of COVID-19, said he would be remembered for generations.

اجمل وزیر نے لوگوں سے اپیل کی کہ وہ کورونا وائرس سے بچنے کے لئے احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کریں ، انہوں نے کہا کہ ابھی تک اس بیماری کا کوئی علاج نہیں ہے۔ وزیر نے مزید کہا کہ اس سے خود کو بچانے کا واحد طریقہ احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کرنا ہے
وزیر نے سماجی دوری کی ضرورت پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ اگر اس پر عمل کیا گیا تو کورون وائرس کا بحران ختم ہوجائے گا ، وزیر نے عوام سے بھی زور دیا کہ وہ گھر سے باہر نماز پڑھنے کے وقت معیاری آپریٹنگ طریقہ کار پر عمل کریں۔
