When Pakistan’s beautiful couple Syra Yousuf and Shahroze Sabzwari announced their divorce earlier this year, this was unexpected news for many.
Initially, when the couple seemed distant and Shahroze was seen a lot in posts with Sadaf Kanwal, people assumed that an affair might have torn the two stars apart.
Sadaf Kanwal was hit and referred to as a “house robber” and “other woman” until Shahroze Sabzwari explained the situation. He revealed that the married couple had been separated for months. He also hoped that if things didn’t work out, they could be reconciled or divorced.
Later our worst fears were confirmed when news of their divorce erupted. Since then, Yousuf has been silent about the issue. Fans assumed that Chalay Terey Sath actress was sad. She hasn’t even changed her Instagram name from “Sairoz”, the ship’s duo name.
Finally, Syra spoke
In a recent live session with her Pakistani designer, HSY, it seems Serra Yusuf has opened her doors on her divorce.
Although Syra did not talk about the divorce itself, she did talk about the things she leaves behind. She mentioned that she would get to know herself better now.
“I think I’m going to move forward knowing that people’s actions towards me have nothing to do with me. It has everything to do with them, and who they are, and what they believe, …. there’s no point for me to worry about that, to take offense to that or feel bad about it.”
The actress was last seen in the superhero movie Ghazi Project. The film was scheduled to launch in 2017 but opened in 2019. Serra revealed that she would start work on a film project soon after quarantine.
She explained that she had been off the screen for a while because she was hard to please on her projects.
“I think we need to change the narrative a bit, … when I read scripts I think, why is she always crying, why is she always miserable.”
