سپریم کورٹ نے حکومتوں کو معذور افراد کے لئے لفظ ‘ڈس ایبل’ استعمال کرنے سے روک دیا
سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان نے وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتوں کو حکم دیا ہے کہ وہ معذور افراد کے لئے لفظ ’’ معذور ‘‘ استعمال نہ کریں۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ، سپریم کورٹ نے حکومت کو سرکاری خط و کتابت ، اطلاعات اور سرکلر میں یہ لفظ استعمال کرنے سے روک دیا ہے۔
عدالت عظمی نے ہدایت کی تھی کہ وہ لفظ ’’ معذور افراد ‘‘ یا ’’ معذور افراد ‘‘ کے بجائے لفظ ’معذور افراد‘ کو استعمال کریں۔
The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered the federal and provincial governments not to use the word “disability” for people with disabilities.
According to the details, SC has prohibited the government from using the word in official correspondence, notifications and circulars.
The Supreme Court had ordered the use of the phrase “persons with disabilities” or “person with disabilities” instead of the word “disability”.
