سپریم کورٹ نے پورے کراچی میں بل بورڈ ہٹانے کا حکم دے دیا
انہوں نے پیر کو سپریم کورٹ نے تمام شہر میں اشتہاری بل بورڈز کو ہٹانے کا حکم دیا۔
چیف جسٹس پاکستان گلزار احمد کی سربراہی میں عدالت عظمی کا بینچ ، سرکاری اور نجی املاک کے علاوہ بلدیہ کے پار سڑکوں پر غیر قانونی طور پر بورڈ بورڈ لگانے سے متعلق کیس کی سماعت کررہا ہے۔
سماعت ایک دن بعد ایک ویڈیو کلپ پر وائرل ہوئی جس میں دکھایا گیا ہے کہ شہر میں شدید بارش کے دوران دو موٹرسائیکل سوار بل بورڈ سے ٹکرا کر زخمی ہوگئے۔ واقعے کا نوٹس لیتے ہوئے کراچی کمشنر افتخار علی شلوانی نے فوری طور پر بل بورڈز کو ہٹانے کا حکم دیا تھا۔
آج کی سماعت کے دوران ، چیف جسٹس نے کمشنر کو شہر بھر میں بل بورڈز کی بوچھاڑ کرنے کی ذمہ داری سنبھال لی۔ انہوں نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ شہر میں ہر جگہ بل بورڈ لگائے گئے ہیں۔ انہوں نے حیرت سے کہا ، “شاہراہ فیصل پر عمارتیں دیکھیں ، یہاں ختم نہ ہونے والے اشتہارات ہیں۔”
کمشنر نے کہا کہ لوگ شہر میں عوامی املاک کا استحصال کررہے ہیں اور دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ ان سب کے پیچھے ایک مافیا ہے۔
بینچ نے شلوانی کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ قوانین کی خلاف ورزی کرتے ہوئے بورڈ بورڈ لگانے کے پیچھے تمام افراد کے خلاف کارروائی کرے۔
چیف جسٹس گلزار نے کہا کہ حکومت کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ تعمیراتی منصوبوں پر عمل درآمد کو یقینی بنائے اور اس پر افسوس کا اظہار کیا کہ صوبے میں حکومت اور قانون نام کی کوئی چیز نہیں ہے۔
The Supreme Court on Monday ordered the removal of all billboards across the city.
An Apex Court bank, headed by Pakistani Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed, heard a case related to the illegal installation of billboards on public and private land and streets across the metropolis.
The hearing comes days after a video clip was released showing two motorcyclists hit and injured by a billboard in heavy rain in the city. Karachi Commissioner Iftikhar Ali Shalwani had taken note of the incident and ordered the immediate removal of billboards.
During today’s hearing, the Chief Justice tasked the Commissioner with collecting billboards across the city. Billboards were being set up all over town, he noted. “See buildings on Shahrah-e-Faisal, the advertisements are endless,” he said, wondering how people will live in those buildings.
The commissioner said people were exploiting public land in the city, claiming it was a mafia.
The bank ordered Shalwani to take action against anyone who violates the law behind the installation of billboards.
Chief Justice Gulzar said it was up to the government to ensure the construction plans were implemented and complained that there was no government or law in the province.
