لوگوں کو استحصال سے بچانے کے لئے شوگر انکوائری رپورٹ بنائی گئی: وزیر اعظم
وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے وفاقی کابینہ کے اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ شوگر انکوائری رپورٹ کو عام کرنے کا مقصد قوم کے سامنے چینی کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کے حقائق اور وجوہات کو سامنے لانا اور اس کی روشنی میں اس کے بدعنوانی کی اصلاح کرتے ہوئے نظام میں اصلاحات لانا ہے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اس طرح کے اقدامات اٹھانے کا مقصد یہ یقینی بنانا تھا کہ مستقبل میں عوام کو استحصال سے بچایا جا سکے اور اجناس کی قیمتوں میں غیر ضروری اضافہ کو روکا جا سکے۔
متعلقہ حکام نے کابینہ کو مستقبل کی حکمت عملی اور شوگر کی تحقیقات سے متعلق رپورٹ میں سفارشات کی روشنی میں مزید اقدامات سے آگاہ کیا ہے۔
اجلاس میں صوبوں کے ذریعہ گندم کی فراہمی کی پیش رفت اور ملک میں اس کی طلب اور رسد کے مستقبل کے تخمینے کے بارے میں تفصیلی پیش کش موصول ہوئی۔ انہوں نے گندم اور آٹے کی طلب اور رسد کو متوازن کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا تاکہ مستقبل میں ملک کے کسی بھی حصے میں کوئی رکاوٹ پیدا نہ ہو۔ سفارشات کرنے اور ملوں پر اصلاحات تجویز کرنے کے لئے ایک اعلی سطحی کمیٹی تشکیل دینے کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا۔
وزیر اعظم نے وزیر داخلہ کو ہدایت کی کہ کامیٹ اسمگلنگ سے متعلق ٹاسک فورس کی تجویز دی تاکہ مزید کارروائی کی جاسکے۔
Prime Minister Imran Khan, chair of a federal cabinet meeting, said that the purpose of publishing the sugar investigation report is to make the nation aware of the facts and reasons for the rise in sugar prices and to correct its corruption in the light of the report. The system needs to be reformed.
He added that the purpose of such measures is to ensure that people can be protected from exploitation in the future and to prevent unnecessary increases in raw material prices.
The relevant authorities have informed the cabinet of future strategies and further steps in the light of the recommendations in the sugar investigation report.
The meeting received a detailed presentation on the progress of the supply of wheat by the provinces and the future estimates of its demand and supply in the country. He decided to balance the supply and demand for wheat and flour so that there would be no disruption in any part of the country in the future. It was also decided to form a high-level committee to make recommendations and propose reforms for the mills.
The prime minister instructed the interior minister to propose a comet trade task force so that further action could be taken.
