A large number of students miss their education today due to the closure caused by the ongoing pandemic. Fortunately, the Pakistani government has set up various services to curb the spread of the virus and help people in their homes.
The Punjab government launched Taleem Ghar television earlier this month and promised that an app will soon be available to help students continue their education at home. The above-mentioned mobile application has finally been launched and bears the same name as the Taleem Ghar television station.
Students in grades 1 to 8, high school and middle school can learn with this app shortly. There will be a variety of localized and multimedia lessons available to everyone for free. Lectures on science, mathematics, languages and other subjects are also offered with animated teachers on the application, cable television and the website.
The launch was announced by Azfar Manzoor, Chairman of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), who had a meeting with the directors of the IT board and other senior members. He said this initiative aims to promote distance learning for students who are stuck in their homes.
The Taleem Ghar project is a joint venture between the Punjab Information Technology Board, the education department and the government of the Punjab Program Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU).

حکومت پنجاب نے اس مہینے کے شروع میں ٹی وی چینل تعلیم گھر کو لانچ کیا تھا اور یہ وعدہ بھی کیا تھا کہ طلبا کو گھر میں اپنی تعلیم جاری رکھنے میں مدد کے لئے جلد ہی ایک ایپ آنے والی ہے۔ مذکورہ بالا موبائل ایپلی کیشن کو آخر کار لانچ کیا گیا ہے اور یہ اسی نام سے چلا گیا ہے جس کا نام ٹی وی چینل تعلیم گھر ہے۔
کلاس ایک سے آٹھ کے ساتھ ساتھ میٹرک اور انٹرمیڈیٹ کے طلباء بہت جلد اس ایپ کا استعمال کرکے تعلیم حاصل کرسکیں گے۔ اس میں مختلف نوعیت کے مقامی اور ملٹی میڈیا اسباق ہوں گے جو ہر ایک کو مفت میں دستیاب ہوں گے۔ سائنس ، ریاضی ، زبانیں اور دیگر مضامین کے لیکچرز متحرک اساتذہ کے ساتھ اطلاق ، کیبل ٹی وی ، اور ویب سائٹ کے توسط سے دستیاب ہیں۔
لانچ کا اعلان پنجاب انفارمیشن ٹکنالوجی بورڈ کے چیئر مین اظفر منظور نے کیا جس نے آئی ٹی بورڈ کے ڈائریکٹرز اور دیگر سینئر ممبروں سے ملاقات کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس اقدام کا مقصد اپنے گھروں میں پھنسے ہوئے طلبا کے لئے دور دراز تعلیم کی حوصلہ افزائی کرنا ہے۔
