The leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, said in a joint interview with Sindhi news channels that the PTI-led federal government did not have the courage to touch the 18th constitutional amendment.
He said that the Sindh government’s timely action prevented a situation such as Italy, Iran, New York and Wuhan from developing in Pakistan, while other provinces followed in the Sindh government’s footsteps and the deadly virus did not spread quickly.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari complained that the association had not yet provided PSA to doctors and paramedics. Added that “some masks and test kits were supplied to the provinces by the NDMA. So far, the provinces have covered 90 percent of the cost of the coronavirus crisis with their own resources, but the provinces alone cannot cope with this global pandemic.

پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی (پی پی پی) کے چیئرمین بلاول بھٹو زرداری نے سندھی نیوز چینلز کو ایک مشترکہ انٹرویو دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ پی ٹی آئی کی زیر قیادت وفاقی حکومت میں 18 ویں آئینی ترمیم کو چھونے کی ہمت نہیں ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت سندھ کے بروقت اقدامات سے اٹلی ، ایران ، نیویارک ، اور ووہان جیسی صورتحال کو پاکستان میں پیدا ہونے سے روک دیا گیا جبکہ دوسرے صوبے بھی سندھ حکومت کے نقش قدم پر چل رہے تھے اور یہ جان لیوا وائرس تیزی سے نہیں پھیل سکا۔
انہوں نے گورنر سندھ عمران اسماعیل کو مخاطب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ صوبائی حکومت شہریوں کی جانیں بچانے کی کوشش کر رہی ہے جبکہ گورنر ، صوبے میں وفاق کے نمائندے نے حکومت سندھ کے لاک ڈاون کی مخالفت کی۔
بھٹو زرداری نے افسوس کا اظہار کیا کہ فیڈریشن کی جانب سے اب تک ڈاکٹروں اور پیرا میڈیکل عملہ کو پی پی ای فراہم نہیں کی گئیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ “کچھ ماسک اور ٹیسٹ کٹس این ڈی ایم اے نے صوبوں کو فراہم کی ہیں۔ ابھی تک ، صوبے کورونا وائرس بحران کے 90 فیصد اخراجات کو اپنے وسائل سے پورا کر رہے ہیں ، لیکن صرف صوبے ہی اس عالمی وبائی صورتحال کا مقابلہ نہیں کرسکتے ہیں۔
