The Government of Sindh banned the transportation of their wheat to other provinces for 45 days to avoid a flour crisis in the province.
According to a statement from the local Sindh ministry, the continued flow of Sindh wheat to other provinces could drive up flour prices in the province.
The communication states that the provincial government will take strict measures against those who hoard or smuggle wheat into other regions under Section 6 of the Law on Food Control in West Pakistan.
All deputy commissioners and district authorities were responsible for banning the transportation of wheat from Sindh.

سندھ حکومت نے صوبے میں آٹے کے بحران سے بچنے کے لئے اپنی گندم کو 45 دن تک دوسرے صوبوں میں لے جانے پر پابندی عائد کردی۔
سندھ کی مقامی وزارت کے ایک نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق ، سندھ گندم کے ذخیروں کا دوسرے صوبوں میں جاری بہاؤ سے صوبے میں آٹے کی قیمتیں بڑھ سکتی ہیں۔
نوٹیفکیشن میں کہا گیا ہے کہ صوبائی حکومت ایکٹ کی دفعہ 6 کے تحت دوسرے علاقوں میں گندم ذخیرہ کرنے یا اسمگل کرنے میں ملوث افراد کے خلاف مغربی پاکستان کے فوڈ کنٹرول ایکٹ کے تحت سخت کارروائی کرے گی۔
تمام ڈپٹی کمشنرز اور ضلعی حکام ذمہ دار ہیں کہ سندھ سے گندم کی آمدورفت پر پابندی کو یقینی بنائیں۔
