KARACHI: Member Sindh Assembly and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi District South Syed Abdul Rashid’s family members have been confirmed to have corona virus.
Abdul Rashid, a member of the Sindh Assembly, was diagnosed with the corona virus on April 23 and now his wife, mother, three children and eight members of his family, including his sister, have tested positive.
Abdul Rashid told that all the people are in good health, no one showed any symptoms, three children are six, eight and twelve years old.
Abdul Rashid had contested from the PPP stronghold of Lyari on a Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal ticket and won the last general election. He has been a leading activist of Jamaat-e-Islami and has been playing a very active role in solving the problems of the region.
Earlier, PPP member and provincial education minister Saeed Ghani had also fallen victim to corona, but as a result of timely diagnosis and safety measures, he has recovered.

کراچی: ممبر سندھ اسمبلی اور جماعت اسلامی کراچی ضلع جنوبی کے امیر سید عبدالرشید کے کنبہ کے افراد کو کورونا وائرس ہونے کی تصدیق ہوگئی۔ سندھ اسمبلی کے ایک ممبر ، عبدالرشید کو 23 اپریل کو کورونا وائرس کی تشخیص ہوئی تھی اور اب ان کی اہلیہ ، والدہ ، تین بچے اور اس کی بہن سمیت اس کے کنبہ کے 8 افراد نے اس کا مثبت تجربہ کیا ہے۔
عبدالرشید نے بتایا کہ تمام افراد کی طبیعت ٹھیک ہے ، کسی نے کوئی علامت ظاہر نہیں کی ، تین بچے چھ ، آٹھ اور بارہ سال کے ہیں۔ عبدالرشید نے متحدہ مجلس عمل کے ٹکٹ پر پیپلز پارٹی کے گڑھ لیاری سے الیکشن لڑا تھا اور گذشتہ عام انتخابات میں کامیابی حاصل کی تھی۔ وہ جماعت اسلامی کے سرکردہ کارکن رہے ہیں اور خطے کے مسائل حل کرنے کے لئے بہت فعال کردار ادا کرتے رہے ہیں۔ اس سے قبل ، پی پی پی کے ممبر اور صوبائی وزیر تعلیم سعید غنی بھی کورونا کا شکار ہو چکے تھے ، لیکن بروقت تشخیص اور حفاظتی اقدامات کے نتیجے میں وہ صحت یاب ہو چکے ہیں۔
