Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Accountability Shehzad Akbar reached the Supreme Court to hear the case of Justice Qazi Faiz Issa. On this occasion, he said that Qazi Faiz Issa is the accused in this case, how can the accused question anyone else, the accused standing in the dock is not answered. Shehzad Akbar said that Justice Qazi Faiz Issa has asked me questions, if the court asks me about his allegations, I will answer in court.
It is to be noted that Justice Faiz Issa has filed a miscellaneous petition in the case against the presidential reference in which he raised questions on the appointment of Shehzad Akbar and said that the appointment of Shehzad Akbar as Chairman Assets Recovery Unit is illegal. Who appointed the chairman? Was the chairman appointed by the Public Service Commission? Did Shahzad Akbar declare his assets and the citizenship of his family?
شہزاد اکبر کا جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ کے سوالات کے جوابات دینے سے انکار
وزیر اعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے احتساب شہزاد اکبر جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ کیس کی سماعت کے لئے سپریم کورٹ پہنچ گئے۔ اس موقع پر انہوں نے کہا کہ قاضی فائز عیسیٰ اس معاملے میں ملزم ہیں ، ملزم کسی اور سے پوچھ گچھ کیسے کرسکتا ہے ، کٹہرے میں کھڑے ملزم کا جواب نہیں ملتا۔ شہزاد اکبر نے کہا کہ جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ نے مجھ سے سوالات پوچھے ہیں ، اگر عدالت مجھ سے ان کے الزامات کے بارے میں پوچھے تو میں عدالت میں جواب دوں گا۔
واضح رہے کہ جسٹس فائز عیسیٰ نے صدارتی ریفرنس کے خلاف اس کیس میں متفرق درخواست دائر کی ہے جس میں انہوں نے شہزاد اکبر کی تقرری پر سوالات اٹھائے تھے اور کہا تھا کہ شہزاد اکبر کی بطور چیئرمین اثاثوں کی بازیابی یونٹ کی تقرری غیر قانونی ہے۔ چیئرمین کس نے مقرر کیا؟ کیا چیئرمین عوامی خدمت کمیشن نے مقرر کیا تھا؟ کیا شہزاد اکبر نے اپنے اثاثوں اور اپنے اہل خانہ کی شہریت ظاہر کی؟
