شہباز گِل کے وارنٹ گرفتاری منسوخ
The Lahore Court of Sessions has withdrawn the arrest warrant issued by the Turkish company of special assistant to Prime Minister for Political Relations Shahbaz Gilll for failing to attend a defamation case.
According to the report, Shahbaz Gil had filed a petition through his lawyer requesting the revocation of his arrest warrant, claiming that his absence during the last hearing was unintentional.
The lawyer said that Shahbaz Gul was unable to appear in court due to a misunderstanding on the hearing date.
The additional district and session judge, Hafiz Hasnain Azhar, accepted Shahbaz Gul’s request and withdrew the warrant for his arrest. The court has already allowed the special assistant to be part of the case through an attorney.
The subsidiary platform of the Al-Biraq group of companies, Tourism Tasimaslik, filed a defamation lawsuit against Shahbaz Gul and requested action against him under sections 499 and 500 of the Pakistan Penal Code for making false accusations.
The Islampura police had also registered a case against officials of the Turkish company who had filed a libel suit against Shahbaz Gul.
However, company officials Tahir Mubeen and two Turkish nationals, Jamil Senejak and Yaman Yaminulo, were acquitted.
لاہور کی سیشن عدالت نے وزیراعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے سیاسی تعلقات شہباز گل کی ترک کمپنی کی جانب سے ہتک عزت کے مقدمے میں عدم حاضری پر جاری کیے گئے وارنٹ گرفتاری واپس لے لیے۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق شہباز گل نے اپنے وکیل کے ذریعے اپنے وارنٹ گرفتاری کو کالعدم قرار دینے کی درخواست دائر کی تھی، جس میں دعویٰ کیا گیا تھا کہ گزشتہ سماعت کے دوران ان کی غیر حاضری غیر ارادی تھی۔
وکیل نے کہا کہ شہباز گل سماعت کی تاریخ پر غلط فہمی کے باعث عدالت میں پیش نہیں ہو سکے۔
ایڈیشنل ڈسٹرکٹ اینڈ سیشن جج حافظ حسنین اظہر نے شہباز گل کی درخواست منظور کرتے ہوئے ان کے وارنٹ گرفتاری واپس لے لیے۔ عدالت پہلے ہی معاون خصوصی کو وکیل کے ذریعے کیس کا حصہ بننے کی اجازت دے چکی ہے۔
البیراق گروپ آف کمپنیوں کے ذیلی پلیٹ فارم ٹورازم تسمسلک نے شہباز گل کے خلاف ہتک عزت کا مقدمہ دائر کیا اور ان کے خلاف پاکستان پینل کوڈ کی دفعہ 499 اور 500 کے تحت جھوٹے الزامات لگانے پر کارروائی کی درخواست کی۔
اسلام پورہ پولیس نے ترک کمپنی کے اہلکاروں کے خلاف بھی مقدمہ درج کیا تھا جنہوں نے شہباز گل کے خلاف توہین کا مقدمہ درج کیا تھا۔
تاہم کمپنی کے اہلکار طاہر مبین اور دو ترک شہریوں جمیل سینیجک اور یامان یامینولو کو بری کر دیا گیا۔
