MIRANSHAH: Seven students were killed and 13 others injured when the roof of a seminary in the Sabir Jankot area in Shawa Tehsil, North Wazirsatan District collapsed on Tuesday.
Police said that a Sabir Jan had set up a madrassa next to his home, where local children learned the Koran and received other religious education. Police superintendent Azam Khan said the structure of the mud-covered seminar had suddenly collapsed and 20 students were buried alive.
The locals hurried to the spot, fetched seven bodies and rescued 13 other students from the rubble. The injured were brought to Thall Hospital for medical treatment. The dead and injured students ranged in age from 10 to 14 years.

میران شاہ: منگل کے روز ضلع شمالی وزیرستان کے تحصیل شاوا میں صابر جنکوٹ کے علاقے میں مدرسے کی چھت گرنے سے 7 طلباء جاں بحق اور 13 زخمی ہوگئے۔
پولیس نے بتایا کہ ایک صابر جان نے اپنے گھر کے ساتھ ہی ایک مدرسہ قائم کیا تھا ، جہاں مقامی بچوں نے قرآن پاک سیکھا تھا اور دوسری دینی تعلیم بھی حاصل کی تھی۔ پولیس سپرنٹنڈنٹ اعظم خان نے بتایا کہ مٹی سے ڈھانپے ہوئے سیمینار کا ڈھانچہ اچانک گر گیا تھا اور 20 طلبا کو زندہ دفن کردیا گیا تھا۔
مقامی لوگوں نے موقع پر پہنچ کر سات لاشیں نکالیں اور 13 دیگر طلبا کو ملبے سے بچالیا۔ زخمیوں کو طبی امداد کے لئے تھل اسپتال لایا گیا۔ ہلاک اور زخمی طالب علموں کی عمریں 10 سے 14 سال تک ہیں
