سیشن کورٹ نے سنتھیا رچی امریکی بلاگر کے خلاف پیپلز پارٹی کی مقتول چیئرپرسن اور سابق وزیر اعظم بے نظیر بھٹو کو بدنام کرنے کے الزام میں دائر درخواست پر اپنا فیصلہ محفوظ کرلیا ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ، وفاقی تحقیقاتی ایجنسی (ایف آئی اے) کے بعد ، پاکستان ٹیلی مواصلات اتھارٹی (پی ٹی اے) نے بھی عدالت سے امریکی بلاگر سنتھیا رچی کے خلاف درخواست خارج کرنے کی اپیل کی ہے۔
ایف آئی اے نے سیشن عدالت کو بتایا کہ درخواست گزار متاثرہ کا سرپرست نہیں ہے لہذا ایجنسی شکایت درج نہیں کرسکتی ہے۔
درخواست گزار کے وکیل نے استدلال کیا کہ بے نظیر بھٹو کے خلاف ٹویٹس کی نوعیت کی وجہ سے ، پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی (پی پی پی) کا ہر کارکن مشتعل ہے۔ اس پر عدالت نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ بے نظیر بھٹو کے ورثاء کیوں شکایت درج نہیں کر رہے ہیں۔
The Sessions Court has reserved its judgment on a petition filed against Cynthia Richie, an American blogger, for defaming the slain PPP chairperson and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Following the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has also appealed to the court to dismiss the petition against American blogger Cynthia Richie, according to details.
The FIA told the Sessions Court that the petitioner was not the guardian of the victim and therefore the agency could not lodge a complaint.
Petitioner’s counsel argued that due to the nature of tweets against Benazir Bhutto, every PPP worker was enraged. The court remarked why Benazir Bhutto’s heirs were not filing a complaint.
