The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has said it will set up a one window facility for women entrepreneurs.
Syed Iftikhar-ul-Hassan Naqvi, Additional Registrar of the SECP, and Fauzia Rashid, Women’s Registrar, said in a statement on Thursday that they would consider setting up a one-window facility at the SECP to help women entrepreneurs. ۔
The SECP assured the business community that it would take steps to remove barriers to company registration and other activities faced by women in the business community.
In addition, the meeting of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Women Entrepreneur Standing Committee discussed the difficulties faced in the registration process of the company.
Responding to the issues raised by the FPCCI representatives, Naqvi said that the registration period of the company was being shortened and after simplifying the procedure, the registration of the company would be done within four hours.
The SECP issued a statement after the meeting, stating that “if a company mimics a logo or uses someone else’s logo illegally, an urgent petition should be filed against it.” Should and will take immediate action. “
Speaking on the occasion, FPCCI Women Entrepreneurs Standing Committee Convener Nazli Abid Nisar emphasized on promoting women entrepreneurship and providing equal business opportunities.
“Laws should be enacted to protect businesses owned by women entrepreneurs,” he said, calling for an end to harassment of women in offices. He also called for the protection of women against cybercrime and said that all obstacles to business should be removed expeditiously.

مزید برآں ، فیڈریشن آف پاکستان چیمبرز آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (ایف پی سی سی آئی) کی خواتین انٹرپرینیور اسٹینڈنگ کمیٹی کے اجلاس میں کمپنی کی رجسٹریشن کے عمل میں درپیش مشکلات پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔
ایف پی سی سی آئی کے نمائندوں کی طرف سے اٹھائے جانے والے مسائل کے جواب میں نقوی نے کہا کہ کمپنی کی رجسٹریشن کی مدت کو کم کیا جارہا ہے اور طریقہ کار کو آسان بنانے کے بعد کمپنی کی رجسٹریشن چار گھنٹوں میں ہو جائے گی۔
