فیصل آباد میں گرین بیلٹس ، فلاح و بہبود سے محفوظ پلاٹوں پر تجاوزات ہٹانے کا سپریم کورٹ کا حکم
سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان نے بدھ کے روز فیصل آباد میں فلاحی منصوبوں کے لئے گرین بیلٹس اور پلاٹوں پر تجاوزات ہٹانے کا حکم دیا۔ چیف جسٹس آف پاکستان (سی جے پی) جسٹس گلزار احمد نے کمشنر کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ اس غیر قانونی سرگرمی میں ملوث افراد کے خلاف کارروائی کریں اور شہر کی سروے رپورٹ پیش کریں۔
سپریم کورٹ نے پنجاب کے مختلف شہروں میں سرکاری اراضی لیز سے متعلق کیس کی سماعت کے دوران پوچھا کہ سرکاری اور سرکاری اراضی پر پیٹرول پمپ کیسے بنے۔
کمشنر فیصل آباد نے عدالت کو بتایا کہ فیصل آباد میں پٹرول پمپ خالی ہوچکا ہے ، عدالت کے حکم پر پوری طرح عمل درآمد کیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ شہر میں گرین بیلٹس پر واقع دیگر تجاوزات کے خلاف بھی کارروائی کی جائے گی۔
جسٹس قاضی امین نے کہا ، “کمشنر ، آپ سرکاری ملازم ہیں ، اپنے اقتدار اور اختیار کو استعمال کریں کیونکہ کسی شہر کے معاملات چلانا انتظامیہ کا کام ہے جو پارلیمنٹ کے ممبران یا ججوں کا نہیں”۔
ایڈیشنل ایڈووکیٹ جنرل پنجاب فیصل چوہدری نے عدالت کو یقین دہانی کرائی کہ حکومت پنجاب صوبہ بھر میں فلاح و بہبود سے محفوظ پلاٹوں اور گرین بیلٹس پر تجاوزات کے خلاف کارروائی کرے گی۔
The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday ordered removal of encroachments on green belts and plots for welfare projects in Faisalabad. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Gulzar Ahmed directed the commissioner to take action against those involved in this illegal activity and submit a survey report of the city.
The Supreme Court, while hearing a case related to lease of government lands in different cities of Punjab, asked how petrol pumps were built on government and government lands.
Commissioner Faisalabad told the court that the petrol pump in Faisalabad was empty and the order of the court would be fully implemented. He added that action would also be taken against other encroachments on green belts in the city.
Justice Qazi Amin said, “Commissioner, you are a government employee, use your power and authority because it is the job of the administration to run the affairs of a city, not the members of parliament or the judges.”
Additional Advocate General Punjab Faisal Chaudhry assured the court that the Punjab government would take action against encroachments on welfare protected plots and green belts across the province.
