State Department spokeswoman Aisha Farooqui said at a weekly press conference on Thursday that the government’s priority was to return stranded Pakistanis to different countries. The government is taking effective measures to ensure the safe return of Pakistanis.
She emphasized that Indian armed forces, under the guise of a so-called cordon and search operation, are targeting young people from Kashmir in occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ & K). She added that “nearly 29 innocent Kashmiris were martyred by Indian troops in April, including seven since the beginning of Ramazan.”
The spokesman urged India to respect the 2003 ceasefire agreement and to investigate any deliberate ceasefire violations along the control line and work border.
It also called on the Indian side to allow the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan to play its mandate role in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions. She added: “Pakistan categorically rejects Indian allegations of infiltration attempts and unsubstantiated claims to target launch pads over the control line (LoC).
Aisha Farooqui said: “These repeated Indian allegations aim to divert the world’s attention from Indian state terrorism and the serious human rights situation in occupied Kashmir.

وزارت خارجہ کی ترجمان عائشہ فاروقی نے جمعرات کو ہفتہ وار پریس کانفرنس میں کہا کہ حکومت کی ترجیح مختلف ممالک میں پھنسے ہوئے پاکستانیوں کی وطن واپسی ہے۔ حکومت پاکستانیوں کی بحفاظت واپسی کے لئے موثر اقدامات کررہی ہے۔
انہوں نے زور دے کر کہا کہ بھارتی فورسز تلاشی کی کارروائیوں کی زد میں آکر مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر میں کشمیری نوجوانوں کو نشانہ بنا رہی ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اپریل میں ہندوستانی فوجیوں کے ذریعہ تقریبا 29 بے گناہ کشمیریوں کو شہید کیا گیا ہے ، رمضان کے آغاز سے اب تک سات بھی شامل ہیں۔
ترجمان نے بھارت سے مطالبہ کیا کہ وہ 2003 کے سیز فائر کی تفہیم کا احترام کرے ، لائن آف کنٹرول اور ورکنگ باؤنڈری کے ساتھ سیز فائر کی خلاف ورزیوں کی تمام کارروائیوں کی تحقیقات کرے۔
