It was decided to allow the opening of 544 shrines in Punjab under the auspices of Awqaf. The meeting of the Punjab government’s sub-cabinet for law and order was chaired by provincial law minister Raja Basharat and was also attended by Timur Bhatti and Ansar Majeed. It was decided in the meeting that all Darbars including Data Darbar, Darbar Pakpattan would be allowed to open.
Provincial Law Minister Raja Basharat said that it has been decided to open all the shrines, however, implementation of SOPs will be mandatory. The meeting reviewed Corona SOPs and security arrangements on Jummatul Wida, Shab-e-Qadr, Al-Quds Day and Eid-ul-Fitr. Raja Basharat said that strict ban on existing SOPs in markets and mosques should be imposed till the arrival of new SOPs and street crime in public places and residential areas should be closely monitored on moon night.
He said that the Rawalpindi administration should ensure the application of SOPs on those who will go Murree during the holidays. The provincial law minister said that all federal and provincial agencies should liaise with each other to thwart possible sabotage operations.

اوقاف کے زیراہتمام پنجاب میں 544 مزارات کھولنے کی اجازت دینے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا۔ امن و امان کیلئے پنجاب حکومت کی ذیلی کابینہ کا اجلاس صوبائی وزیر قانون راجہ بشارت کی زیرصدارت ہوا اور اس میں تیمور بھٹی اور انصر مجید بھی شریک ہوئے۔ اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ داتا دربار ، دربار پاکپتن سمیت تمام درباروں کو کھولنے کی اجازت ہوگی۔
صوبائی وزیر قانون راجہ بشارت نے کہا کہ تمام مزارات کھولنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے ، تاہم ایس او پیز پر عمل درآمد لازمی ہوگا۔ اجلاس میں جمعہ الوداع ، شب قدر ، یوم القدس اور عید الفطر کے موقع پر کورونا ایس او پیز اور سکیورٹی انتظامات کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔ راجہ بشارت نے کہا کہ عوامی مقامات اور رہائشی علاقوں میں نئے ایس او پیز پر عمل درآمد اور اسٹریٹ کرائم پر قابو تک بازاروں اور مساجد میں موجود ایس او پیز پر سخت نگرانی کی جانی چاہئے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ راولپنڈی انتظامیہ تعطیلات کے دوران مری جانے والے افراد پر ایس او پیز کا اطلاق یقینی بنائے۔ صوبائی وزیر قانون نے کہا کہ تخریب کاری کی ممکنہ کارروائیوں کو ناکام بنانے کے لئے تمام وفاقی اور صوبائی ایجنسیاں ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ رابطہ کریں۔
