صدر نے فوری انصاف ، خواتین کو ہراساں کرنے کے خلاف تحفظ کے لئے محتسب کے کردار کی تعریف کی
صدر ڈاکٹر عارف علوی نے جمعہ کو لوگوں کو تیز رفتار اور کم لاگت انصاف کی فراہمی کے لئے ہراساں کرنے کے خلاف تحفظ برائے وفاقی محتسب سیکرٹریٹ کے کردار کو سراہا اور اس کی تاثیر کو بڑھانے کے لئے ادارے کو مزید مستحکم کرنے پر زور دیا۔
ایوان صدر میں ہارسمنٹ کرنے والے کشملا طارق کے خلاف وفاقی محتسب برائے تحفظ سے ملاقات میں ، صدر نے پرنٹ اور ڈیجیٹل میڈیا کے ذریعہ بیداری مہموں پر زور دیا تاکہ لوگوں کو شکایات کے فوری حل کے لئے محتسب کے کردار پر حساس بنایا جاسکے۔ ایوان کے بیان میں کہا گیا ہے۔
محتسب نے صدر کو ہراسانی سے پاک کام کرنے کا ماحول پیدا کرنے میں ان اداروں کے کردار کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا جس نے رجسٹرڈ مقدمات نمٹائے تھے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ محتسب نے سیمینار اور پریس کانفرنسوں کے انعقاد سے آگاہی پیدا کی تھی جس کی وجہ سے مقدمات کے اندراج میں اضافہ ہوا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ خواتین پاکستان کی 50 فیصد آبادی کی نمائندگی کرتی ہیں اور انہیں کام کرنے کا محفوظ ماحول فراہم کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔
فیڈرل اومبڈسمین سیکریٹریٹ برائے پروٹیکشن اینڈ ہارسمینٹ ایک آزاد خودمختار عدلیہ قانونی ادارہ ہے جو کام کی جگہ پر ہراساں ہونے سے بچاؤ کے لئے کام کر رہا ہے۔ اس کا مقصد ہراسانی سے پاک کام کرنے کا ماحول پیدا کرنا ہے۔

President Dr. Arif Alvi Friday recognized the role of the Federal Ombudsman’s Secretariat for Protection against Harassment for the swift and cost-effective justice of the population and called for further strengthening of the institution to improve its effectiveness.

The Ombudsman informed the President about the role of the institutions in creating a nuisance-free work environment in which 93% of the registered cases were eliminated.
She said that the Ombudsman raised awareness by holding seminars and press conferences, which led to an increase in the number of cases registered.
She said that women make up over 50 percent of the Pakistani population and that they need to be offered a safe work environment.
The Ombudsman’s Secretariat for Protection against Harassment is an autonomous, judicial-like legal body that works to protect against harassment at work. The aim is to create a work environment that is free from harassment.
The Pakistani government recently authorized the FOSPAH under the “Women’s Property Enforcement Law 2020, 2020” to decide cases related to female inheritance.
