پیپلز پارٹی ملک میں جمہوریت بحال کرے گی: بلاول
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday reiterated his party’s commitment to restoring democracy and people’s rights on the occasion of the PPP’s 54th founding day in Peshawar.
Addressing a large crowd at Kabutar Chowk, the new center for political gatherings in Peshawar, Bilawal paid rich tributes to the founder of the PPP and his grandfathers, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto founded the PPP in 1967 to get rid of dictatorial policies. Today, the same policies of elected and incompetent rulers have made the lives of poor people miserable, Bilawal Bhutto claimed.
PPP workers from KP, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir attended the function. Emotional activists chanted slogans in favor of their party and leadership and called the meeting a referendum against the government. The speakers claimed that they would form the next government at the center and in the provinces.
The PPP chairman urged the people of the country to stand up against the “enemy of the people” rulers for the future of Pakistan.
Our government was people friendly. We started Benazir Income Support Program for K-P people in the past and it is Bhutto’s party that will get people out of financial difficulties, Bilawal Bhutto added.
Bilawal also slammed the PTI government for calling it an IMF government.
“The rich are getting richer day by day while the poor are in trouble. Imran Khan had promised to commit suicide instead of going to the IMF. However, due to wrong economic policies of the government, people are forced to commit suicide. Is dictating to this government, “he claimed.
پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی (پی پی پی) کے چیئرمین بلاول بھٹو زرداری نے منگل کو پشاور میں پی پی پی کے 54ویں یوم تاسیس کے موقع پر جمہوریت اور عوامی حقوق کی بحالی کے لیے اپنی پارٹی کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا ہے۔
پشاور کے نئے مرکز برائے سیاسی اجتماعات کبوتر چوک میں ایک بڑے ہجوم سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے بلاول نے پی پی پی کے بانی اور اپنے نانا ذوالفقار علی بھٹو اور بے نظیر بھٹو کو زبردست خراج عقیدت پیش کیا۔
شہید ذوالفقار علی بھٹو نے آمرانہ پالیسیوں سے نجات کے لیے 1967 میں پیپلز پارٹی کی بنیاد رکھی۔ آج منتخب اور نااہل حکمرانوں کی انہی پالیسیوں نے غریب عوام کی زندگی اجیرن کر دی ہے، بلاول بھٹو نے دعویٰ کیا۔
تقریب میں کے پی، پنجاب، سندھ، بلوچستان، گلگت بلتستان اور کشمیر سے پیپلز پارٹی کے کارکنوں نے شرکت کی۔ جذباتی کارکنوں نے اپنی پارٹی اور قیادت کے حق میں نعرے لگائے اور اجلاس کو حکومت کے خلاف ریفرنڈم قرار دیا۔ مقررین نے دعویٰ کیا کہ وہ مرکز اور صوبوں میں اگلی حکومت بنائیں گے۔
پی پی پی چیئرمین نے ملک کے عوام پر زور دیا کہ وہ پاکستان کے مستقبل کے لیے ’عوام دشمن‘ حکمرانوں کے خلاف اٹھ کھڑے ہوں۔
ہماری حکومت عوام دوست تھی۔ ہم نے ماضی میں K-P کے لوگوں کے لیے بے نظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام شروع کیا اور یہ بھٹو کی پارٹی ہے جو لوگوں کو مالی مشکلات سے نکالے گی، بلاول بھٹو نے مزید کہا۔
بلاول نے پی ٹی آئی حکومت کو آئی ایم ایف کی حکومت قرار دیتے ہوئے بھی سخت تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا۔
“امیر دن بدن امیر ہوتے جا رہے ہیں جبکہ غریب تکلیف میں ہیں۔ عمران خان نے آئی ایم ایف کے پاس جانے کے بجائے خودکشی کا وعدہ کیا تھا تاہم حکومت کی غلط معاشی پالیسیوں کی وجہ سے لوگ خودکشی کرنے پر مجبور ہیں۔ آئی ایم ایف اس حکومت کو ڈکٹیٹ کر رہا ہے،‘‘ انہوں نے دعویٰ کیا۔
