وزیر اعظم نے پنجاب اور کے پی کے حکومتوں پر زور دیا ہے کہ غیر ترقیاتی اخراجات کو کم کرنے پر توجہ مرکوز کرین
اسلام آباد: وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے اتوار کو پنجاب اور خیبرپختونخوا کی صوبائی حکومتوں پر زور دیا ہے کہ وہ وفاقی حکومت کی طرح اپنے غیر ترقیاتی اخراجات میں کمی لائیں ، اور ان شہری علاقوں میں ملازمت کے مواقع پیدا کریں جو موجودہ کورونا وائرس کا شکار ہیں۔ .
وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ کورونآ وائرس وبائی مرض کے سبب دنیا بھر میں معاشی صورتحال غیر معمولی ہو گئی ۔ آئندہ مالی بجٹ اس غیر معمولی صورتحال میں پیش کیا جارہا تھا جس کے تحت غیر ترقیاتی اخراجات کو کم کرنے کی ضرورت تھی جبکہ ترقیاتی اخراجات میں اضافہ کیا جانا چاہئے۔
وزیر اعظم نے یہ بات رواں سال کے لئے پنجاب اور خیبر پختونخوا کے آئندہ مجوزہ مالی بجٹ کے بارے میں ایک اعلی سطح کے اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے پریس ریلیز میں کہی ۔
اجلاس میں وزیرخارجہ مخدوم شاہ محمود قریشی ، وزیر برائے اطلاعات سینیٹر شبلی فراز ، وزیر صنعت محمد محمد حمد اظہر ، وزیر منصوبہ بندی اسد عمر ، ڈاکٹر عبدالحفیظ شیخ ، عبدالرزاق داؤد ، ڈاکٹر عشرت حسین ، سید ذوالفقار سمیت وزیر اعظم کے مشیر بھی موجود تھے۔ عباس بخاری ، لیفٹیننٹ جنرل (ر) عاصم سلیم باجوہ ، وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب سردار عثمان بزدار ، وزیراعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا محمود خان ، وزیر خزانہ مخدوم ہاشم جوان بخت ، کے پی کے کے وزیر خزانہ تیمور سلیم جھگڑا اور دیگر اعلی عہدیداروں نے شرکت کی۔
اجلاس کے دوران وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب اور کے پی کے کی معاشی ٹیموں نے زمینی حقائق کی بنیاد پر رواں مالی سال کے اپنے مجوزہ مالی بجٹ میں شامل محصولات ، اخراجات اور ترجیحات کے بارے میں تفصیلی بریفنگ پیش کی۔
اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ، وزیر اعظم نے ان منصوبوں اور ان کے نفاذ کو خصوصی طور پر ترجیح دینے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا جس سے روزگار کے مواقع پیدا ہوں گے اور معیشت کو فروغ ملے گا۔
قومی اور صوبائی ترقیاتی ضروریات کو پورا کرنے کے لئے نجی شعبوں کی شرکت کو یقینی بنانے کے لئے ، انہوں نے سرکاری نجی شراکت کے تحت منصوبوں کی تکمیل کے لئے نجی شعبے کی سہولت کی ضرورت پر بھی زور دیا۔
وزیر اعظم نے صوبائی حکومتوں کو صنعتی اور زرعی شعبوں کی ترقی پر خصوصی توجہ دینے کی ہدایت بھی کی۔
وزیر اعظم کو خصوصی اقتصادی زون اور زرعی شعبے کے فروغ کے بارے میں مجوزہ بجٹ میں دی جانے والی ترجیحات کے بارے میں بتایا گیا ۔
وزیر اعظم نے صوبائی حکومتوں کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ صحت کے شعبے کی بہتری کے منصوبوں پر خصوصی توجہ دیں ، تاکہ عام عوام کو صحت کی معیاری سہولتیں مل سکیں۔
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday urged the provincial governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to reduce their non-development spending like the federal government and to create jobs in urban areas affected by the current Covid-19.
The prime minister said that due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the economic situation around the world has become exceptional. The forthcoming budget was presented in an exceptional situation, in which non-development expenditure had to be reduced and development expenditure increased.
The prime minister said this in a press release while leading a high-level meeting on the upcoming proposed budget for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the current year.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Senator for Information Minister Shibli Faraz, Minister of Industry Muhammad Hamad Azhar, Minister of Planning Asad Umar, also attended the meeting. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Dr. Ishrat Hussain, Syed Zulfiqar and Prime Minister’s Advisor. Abbas Bukhari, Lt. Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa, Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Bazdar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Mahmood Khan, finance minister Makhdoom Hashim Javan Bakht, KPK finance minister Timur Saleem Jhagra and other high-ranking officials were present.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Punjab’s and KPK’s business teams provided detailed information on the revenue, expenditure and priorities contained in their proposed financial budget for the current fiscal year based on local realities.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the need to give these projects and their implementation priority in order to create employment opportunities and boost the economy.
To ensure the participation of the private sector in meeting national and regional development needs, he also stressed the need to facilitate the private sector in completing public-private partnership projects.
The Prime Minister also instructed the provincial governments to pay special attention to the development of the industrial and agricultural sectors.
