Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced the launch of 3G 4G broadband services for the people of South Waziristan from today.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing today said that the ruling government is fully committed to work for the welfare of the people of Waziristan.
He lamented that the region has suffered the most in the last two decades due to the war on terror. “We will try to develop the area and provide our facilities,” he said. He added that the government hopes to create jobs by using olive trees as the area was the best in the country for such plants.
Imran Khan said that the PTI government has given priority to the development of the tribal areas and Balochistan. He announced the establishment of a technical college in the tribal areas to impart technical skills to the youth.
“Integrating the tribal areas into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was a difficult task, and some elements tried to spread chaos,” he said.
Imran Khan paid tribute to the tribals for their role in the integration of the tribal districts with the province of KP. Imran Khan said aid would be provided to the region under the Ehsan program, adding that the government was considering providing livestock to women to allow them to earn a living from production.
He said that the government would also improve the road infrastructure so that the farmers could easily take their produce to the markets.
Addressing the Kamyab Jawan Program, the Prime Minister said that the government would expand its scope and increase its financial assistance from next year to provide more low-cost loans to the people.
