Prime Minister Imran Khan noted doctors and paramedical personnel infected with coronavirus nationwide while treating Covid-19 patients.
According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan has subpoenaed an emergency plan from the authorities concerned to protect doctors from Covid-19.
Officials from the Ministry of Health and National Civil Protection Agency (NDMA) will inform the Prime Minister of plans to protect doctors from COVID-19 infection.
It should be noted that doctors and paramedical staff have been at the forefront in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
According to statistics from the Ministry of National Health and Emergency Services, the total number of coronavirus health workers in Pakistan has reached 2,193, with 23 of them having lost their fight against the infection to date.
At least 139 others tested positive for the virus on Monday, while two of them died in the past 24 hours.

وزارت صحت اور قومی سول پروٹیکشن ایجنسی (این ڈی ایم اے) کے عہدیدار وزیر اعظم کو ڈاکٹروں کوکوویڈ 19 انفیکشن سے بچانے کے منصوبوں سے آگاہ کریں گے۔
واضح رہے کہ ناول کورونا وائرس کے خلاف جنگ میں ڈاکٹر اور پیرا میڈیکل اسٹاف سب سے آگے رہا ہے۔
