پی آئی اے کیبن کا عملہ الکحل کا لازمی ٹیسٹ کروائے گا
پاکستان انٹرنیشنل ایئر لائنز (پی آئی اے) نے اپنے کیبن عملے کے ممبروں کو شراب کے ذرات کی موجودگی کا پتہ لگانے کے لئے سانس کے تجزیہ کار کے ذریعے طبی معائنے کروانے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔
جاری کردہ ہدایت نامہ کے مطابق ، پی آئی اے کا کہنا تھا کہ کیبن عملہ تمام فلائٹ پر ٹیسٹ کروائے گا اور اسے بریفنگ رومز میں فلائٹ سرجن ، میڈیکل آفیسر یا فلائٹ سرجن کے زیر نگرانی گراؤنڈ اسٹاف انجام دے گا۔
قومی پرچم بردار کیریئر نے میڈیکل ٹیم کے ساتھ مکمل تعاون کی درخواست کرتے ہوئے پڑھتے ہوئے کہا ، “تمام آپریٹنگ کیبن عملے کو لازمی طور پر آپریٹنگ پرواز سے پہلے ٹیسٹ سے گزرنا پڑتا ہے۔”
پی آئی اے حکام نے بتایا کہ یہ ٹیسٹ فلائٹ آپریشنز کے دوران شراب کے استعمال سے بچنے کے لئے شروع کیا گیا تھا۔ پی آئی اے کے میڈیکل ڈیپارٹمنٹ سے جاری کردہ یہ ایڈوائزری فوری طور پر نافذ العمل ہوگی۔
یہاں یہ امر قابل ذکر ہے کہ جنوری 2019 میں ، پاکستان انٹرنیشنل ایئر لائن (پی آئی اے) کے ایک فلائٹ اٹینڈینٹ کو شراب کے زیر اثر رہنے کی وجہ سے لاہور جانے والی پرواز سے آف لوڈ کردیا گیا تھا۔
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has instructed its cabin crew members to undergo medical examinations through a breath analyzer to determine the presence of alcohol particles.
In accordance with the issued guidelines, the PIA said cabin crew would take the test on all flights and would conduct it in meeting rooms by an aviation surgeon, medical officer, or ground surgeon-supervised operator.
“All crew members of the flight cabin must undergo the test before they must operate the flight on a must basis,” said the national airline’s instructions, while requesting full cooperation with the medical team.
The test was introduced to avoid alcohol consumption during flight operations, the PIA authorities said. The report issued by the medical department of the PIA takes effect immediately.
It should be noted that in January 2019, a flight attendant from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was unloaded from a flight to Lahore because he was under the influence of alcohol.
