پی ایچ ای سی نے پنجاب ہاؤس مری میں کوہسار یونیورسٹی کی منظوری دے دی
پنجاب ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن (پی ایچ ای سی) نے پنجاب ہاؤس مری میں یونیورسٹی کے قیام کا نوٹیفکیشن جاری کیا ہے۔
کمیشن نے ستمبر اور اکتوبر میں داخلے کے ساتھ ہی پنجاب ہاؤس مری میں کوہسار یونیورسٹی کے قیام کو ٹھیک کردیا ہے۔ پہلے وائس چانسلر کی تقرری بھی اسی ہفتے متوقع ہے۔
نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق پنجاب ہاؤس ، ریسورس سینٹر مری اور اس سے ملحقہ 86 کنال سرکاری اراضی یونیورسٹی کو منتقل کردی گئی ہے۔
عام مضامین کے علاوہ سیاحت اور مہمان نوازی کے انتظام کو بھی یونیورسٹی میں پڑھایا جائے گا جبکہ کیمپس کہوٹہ اور کلر سیداں کے سنگم پر واقع ہوگا۔
اس یونیورسٹی کے لئے منظوری اس سال جنوری میں وزیر اعلی پنجاب عثمان بزدار نے دی تھی۔ کورونا وائرس وبائی امراض کی وجہ سے اس پر عمل درآمد مؤخر ہوا۔ تاہم ، اس نوٹیفکیشن کے ساتھ ، یہ یونیورسٹی اگست میں تعلیمی سال کے لئے کام کر سکتی ہے۔
The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) has released a notice regarding the establishment of a university in the Punjab House Murree.
The Commission has approved the establishment of Kohsar University in Punjab Murree with admissions from September and October. The appointment of the first Vice Chancellor is also expected this week.
Punjab House, the Resource Center Murree and the adjacent 86 channels of government land have been transferred to the university, according to the announcement.
In addition to general subjects, the university also teaches tourism and hotel management, while the campus is located at the confluence of the Kahuta and Kalar Syedan.
Approval for the university was granted by Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar in January this year. Implementation has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. With the notification, however, the university could be operational for the academic year in August.
