پیٹرولیم ڈیلرز نے ایک بار پھر ملک گیر ہڑتال کی دھمکی دے دی
The Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) has announced a nationwide strike on November 5 against non-increase in dealer commissions for the past three years.
Despite promises, the government has not increased dealer commissions in the past three years, the association said in a statement.
If the government does not comply with the demands, the PPDA has announced that all oil traders will go on strike, refusing to sell petroleum products nationwide. In this regard, Petroleum Dealers announced that they will hold a press conference on October 28 in Islamabad.
Information Secretary Noman Ali Butt said that the country was going through the worst inflationary wave and that it was impossible to continue the operation in such circumstances. He said that if the commission was not increased, the gas pumps would close on November 5.
“Inflation and production costs make business impossible. If a decision is not made to increase the commission, distributors will be forced to take drastic measures,” he added.

ایسوسی ایشن نے ایک بیان میں کہا کہ وعدوں کے باوجود، حکومت نے گزشتہ تین سالوں میں ڈیلر کمیشن میں اضافہ نہیں کیا۔
اگر حکومت نے مطالبات تسلیم نہ کیے تو پی پی ڈی اے نے ملک بھر میں پیٹرولیم مصنوعات فروخت کرنے سے انکار کرتے ہوئے تمام آئل ٹریڈرز ہڑتال پر جانے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ اس حوالے سے پیٹرولیم ڈیلرز نے اعلان کیا کہ وہ 28 اکتوبر کو اسلام آباد میں پریس کانفرنس کریں گے۔
سیکرٹری اطلاعات نعمان علی بٹ نے کہا کہ ملک مہنگائی کی بدترین لہر سے گزر رہا ہے اور ایسے حالات میں آپریشن جاری رکھنا ناممکن ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کمیشن نہ بڑھایا گیا تو 5 نومبر کو گیس پمپ بند کر دیں گے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ “مہنگائی اور پیداواری لاگت کاروبار کو ناممکن بنا دیتی ہے۔ اگر کمیشن بڑھانے کا فیصلہ نہ کیا گیا تو ڈسٹری بیوٹرز سخت اقدامات اٹھانے پر مجبور ہوں گے۔”
