پٹرولیم ڈیلرز نے ہڑتال ختم کر دی
Petroleum dealers ended their strike after a successful meeting with the Ministry of Energy to increase dealer margins from 2% to 6%.
The meeting concluded that the Ministry of Energy would send a summary of necessary changes in dealer margins to the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).
Energy Minister Hamad Azhar was also part of the meeting, which led to the end of the strike.
The Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association further announced that the strike has been postponed till November 17 and if the government does not fulfill its promises, the strike will start from November 17.
On Tuesday, dealers threatened to shut down fuel stations on November 5 if authorities did not increase petrol dealers’ margins to 6 percent.
پٹرولیم ڈیلرز نے ڈیلر کے مارجن کو 2 فیصد سے بڑھا کر 6 فیصد کرنے پر وزارت توانائی کے ساتھ کامیاب میٹنگ کے بعد اپنی ہڑتال ختم کر دی۔
اجلاس اس نتیجے پر ختم ہوا کہ وزارت توانائی ڈیلر کے مارجن میں ضروری تبدیلیوں پر مشتمل ایک سمری اکنامک کوآرڈینیشن کمیٹی کو بھیجے گی۔
وزیر توانائی حماد اظہر بھی اجلاس کا حصہ تھے جس کی وجہ سے ہڑتال ختم کردی گئی۔
پاکستان پیٹرولیم ڈیلر ایسوسی ایشن نے مزید اعلان کیا کہ ہڑتال 17 نومبر تک ملتوی کر دی گئی ہے اور اگر حکومت نے وعدے پورے نہ کیے تو 17 نومبر سے ہڑتال شروع کر دی جائے گی۔
منگل کو ڈیلرز نے دھمکی دی تھی کہ اگر حکام نے پیٹرول ڈیلرز کے مارجن کو 6 فیصد تک نہ بڑھایا تو وہ 5 نومبر کو فیول اسٹیشن بند کردیں گے۔
