Dr. Palitha Mahipala, Country Director, World Health Organization has called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi. Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechoho, Principal Secretary Sajid Jamal Abro and WHO Dr. Sara Khan were also present on the occasion. WHO representatives praised the Sindh government’s policy against the coronavirus, stressing that local migration must be stopped not only in Sindh but across the country.
During the meeting, Murad Ali Shah said that we have accommodated 6600 tests on a daily basis in Corona. People are not cooperating as much as they should in getting the tests done. Be safe, our doctors will be able to save the lives of others.

ورلڈ ہیلتھ آرگنائزیشن کے کنٹری ڈائریکٹر ڈاکٹر پلتھا مہیپالا نے وزیر اعلیٰ سندھ سید مراد علی شاہ سے کراچی میں ملاقات کی ہے۔ وزیر صحت ڈاکٹر عذرا پیچوہو ، پرنسپل سکریٹری ساجد جمال ابڑو اور ڈبلیو ایچ او ڈاکٹر سارہ خان بھی اس موقع پر موجود تھے۔
ڈبلیو ایچ او کے نمائندوں نے کورونا وائرس کے خلاف سندھ حکومت کی پالیسی کی تعریف کی ، اور اس بات پر زور دیا کہ مقامی ہجرت کو نہ صرف سندھ بلکہ پورے ملک میں روکا جائے۔
ملاقات کے دوران ، مراد علی شاہ نے کہا کہ ہم کورونا میں روزانہ کی بنیاد پر 6600 ٹیسٹ ایڈجسٹ کرتے ہیں۔ لوگ ٹیسٹ کروانے میں اتنا تعاون نہیں کر رہے ہیں۔ سلامت رہیں ، ہمارے ڈاکٹر دوسروں کی زندگیاں بچانے کے اہل ہوں گے۔
