پاکستان 19 دسمبر کو او آئی سی کے خصوصی اجلاس کی میزبانی کرے گا
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan is going to host a special meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on December 19, focusing on Afghanistan.
“If untimely attention is not paid to Afghanistan, it could lead to a humanitarian catastrophe. If Afghanistan’s assets remain frozen, it could lead to an economic crisis and in such a situation, the situation could become alarming,” he said.
According to international estimates, 22.8 million Afghans could be malnourished and 3.2 million children could be malnourished, he said.
The Foreign Minister said that the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers was being held after 41 years.
He said that the United States, China, Britain and Russia, as well as relevant representatives of the European Union and UN agencies and representatives of the World Bank were being invited to the meeting.
“Considering the importance of Germany, Japan, Canada and Australia, their representatives are also being invited. We will also invite a high level delegation from Afghanistan to brief the international delegation on the real situation,” he said. ۔
He said the idea came to light when the prime minister visited Saudi Arabia at the invitation of the Saudi Crown Prince.
He said that Afghanistan is also a founding member of OIC for which we have to do something.
He said that after August 15, India launched a full-scale campaign against Pakistan, which was supposed to ban Pakistan, but Pakistan defeated India’s campaign on the diplomatic front.
He said that Pakistan has made it clear at the international level that there should be engagement with all, we have also tried to enhance our diplomatic relations.
The Foreign Minister said that the meeting would draw attention to two things, to try to control a human tragedy before it arises and to mobilize resources through a conference.
“We have decided to give 50,000 tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan and have also hinted at facilitating India in giving wheat to Afghanistan. Pakistan has no hesitation in giving way to its affiliates,” he said. Is’.
“The time has not come to recognize Afghanistan. The world is watching our behavior, words and deeds,” he said.
وزیر خارجہ شاہ محمود قریشی نے کہا ہے کہ پاکستان 19 دسمبر کو اسلامی تعاون تنظیم (او آئی سی) کے خصوصی اجلاس کی میزبانی کرنے جا رہا ہے جس میں افغانستان پر توجہ دی جائے گی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر افغانستان پر بروقت توجہ نہ دی گئی تو یہ ایک انسانی تباہی کا باعث بن سکتا ہے۔ اگر افغانستان کے اثاثے منجمد رہے تو یہ معاشی بحران کا باعث بن سکتا ہے اور ایسی صورت حال میں صورتحال تشویشناک ہو سکتی ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ بین الاقوامی اندازوں کے مطابق، 22.8 ملین افغان غذائی قلت کا شکار ہو سکتے ہیں اور 3.2 ملین بچے غذائی قلت کا شکار ہو سکتے ہیں۔
وزیر خارجہ نے کہا کہ وزرائے خارجہ کونسل کا اجلاس 41 سال بعد ہو رہا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اجلاس میں امریکہ، چین، برطانیہ اور روس کے علاوہ یورپی یونین اور اقوام متحدہ کے اداروں کے متعلقہ نمائندوں اور عالمی بینک کے نمائندوں کو مدعو کیا جا رہا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ “جرمنی، جاپان، کینیڈا اور آسٹریلیا کی اہمیت کو دیکھتے ہوئے ان کے نمائندوں کو بھی مدعو کیا جا رہا ہے، ہم افغانستان سے ایک اعلیٰ سطحی وفد کو بھی مدعو کریں گے تاکہ بین الاقوامی وفد کو حقیقی صورتحال سے آگاہ کیا جا سکے۔” ۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ خیال اس وقت سامنے آیا جب وزیراعظم نے سعودی ولی عہد کی دعوت پر سعودی عرب کا دورہ کیا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ افغانستان بھی او آئی سی کا بانی رکن ہے جس کے لیے ہمیں کچھ کرنا ہوگا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ 15 اگست کے بعد بھارت نے پاکستان کے خلاف بھرپور مہم چلائی جس میں پاکستان پر پابندی عائد کرنا تھی لیکن پاکستان نے سفارتی محاذ پر بھارت کی مہم کو شکست دی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان نے بین الاقوامی سطح پر واضح کر دیا ہے کہ سب کے ساتھ روابط ہونا چاہیے، ہم نے بھی اپنے سفارتی تعلقات بڑھانے کی کوشش کی ہے۔
وزیر خارجہ نے کہا کہ اجلاس میں دو باتوں کی طرف توجہ مبذول کروائی جائے گی، انسانی المیے کو پیدا ہونے سے پہلے ہی اس پر قابو پانے کی کوشش کی جائے اور کانفرنس کے ذریعے وسائل کو متحرک کیا جائے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم نے افغانستان کو 50,000 ٹن گندم دینے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے اور افغانستان کو گندم دینے میں بھارت کو سہولت فراہم کرنے کا بھی اشارہ دیا ہے۔ ہے’۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ افغانستان کو تسلیم کرنے کا وقت نہیں آیا، دنیا ہمارے رویے، قول و فعل کو دیکھ رہی ہے۔
