After the detection of highly infectious mutated Coronavirus strain in England, Pakistan decided to suspend the flight operation from Pakistan to UK over the fear of transmission of virus. The decision was taken in the meeting of National Command and Control Centre NCOC held under the presidency of SAPM on health, Dr. Faisal Sultan on Monday.
Aviation Division, in this regard has issued an official notification to shut the travel for both direct and indirect passengers from UK to avoid the carriage of infection. The ban on the travel is imposed from 22 December 2020 to 30 December 2020 midnight.
The Aviation Division, however, has set the conditions to the Pakistani passport holders for an entry to Pakistan. These conditions are:
- A negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours prior to the flight.
- PCR test on arrival in Pakistan under arrangement with the Directorate of Central Health Establishment or regional health staff. Passengers will be required to stay in the airport or a government facility until the PCR test is taken.
- Mandatory enforced home quarantine for seven days.
On the other side NCOC has decided compulsory for the travelers to enter in Pakistan according to Pass Track mobile app. Without application, passengers have to fill out the web form of the application.
Pass Track mobile application is developed by National Information Technology Board NITB to record the basic information of the passengers entering to Pakistan during the Coronavirus pandemic. The National Command and Control Centre NCOC will call a meeting again on 28 December lift or extend the suspension.

سات دن کے لئے لازمی طور پر گھر میں قرنطینہ کرنا۔
دوسری جانب این سی او سی نے پاس ٹریک موبائل ایپ کے مطابق مسافروں کے پاکستان میں داخلے لازمی کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ درخواست کے بغیر ، مسافروں کو درخواست کا ویب فارم پُر کرنا ہوگا۔
پاس ٹریک موبائل ایپلی کیشن کو نیشنل انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی بورڈ این آئی ٹی بی نے تیار کیا ہے تاکہ وہ کورونا وائرس وبائی مرض کے دوران پاکستان جانے والے مسافروں کی بنیادی معلومات کو ریکارڈ کرے۔ نیشنل کمانڈ اینڈ کنٹرول سنٹر این سی او سی 28 دسمبر کو ایک بار پھر اجلاس طلب کرے گا یا معطلی میں توسیع کرے گا۔
