پاکستان آکسیجن کے شدید بحران کے دہانے پر ہے: تقسیم کار
Pakistani oxygen distributors have warned authorities that the third wave of Covid 19 has wreaked havoc.
They claimed in a joint statement that they were currently producing oxygen at full capacity and that the situation could become competitive with India if cases of the corona virus began to increase.
“We are currently producing gas at our maximum capacity and the continued supply of oxygen to industries could affect the health sector.”
He said that domestic production of oxygen is mostly allocated for the health sector and if all the plants produce oxygen at maximum capacity, they would be able to meet the needs of the health sector.
He also demanded uninterrupted power supply to the plants to produce oxygen.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms and Special Measures Asad Omar had revealed that the country’s oxygen supply capacity was now under pressure.

انہوں نے ایک مشترکہ بیان میں دعویٰ کیا کہ وہ فی الحال پوری صلاحیت سے آکسیجن تیار کررہے ہیں اور اگر کورونا وائرس کے معاملات میں اضافہ ہونے لگے تو صورتحال ہندوستان کے مقابلہ کی حیثیت اختیار کرسکتی ہے۔
“ہم فی الحال اپنی زیادہ سے زیادہ صلاحیت پر گیس تیار کررہے ہیں اور صنعتوں کو آکسیجن کی مسلسل فراہمی صحت کے شعبے کو متاثر کرسکتی ہے۔”
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ آکسیجن کی گھریلو پیداوار زیادہ تر صحت کے شعبے کے لئے مختص کی جاتی ہے اور اگر تمام پودے زیادہ سے زیادہ صلاحیت سے آکسیجن تیار کرتے ہیں تو وہ صحت کے شعبے کی ضروریات کو پورا کرسکیں گے۔
انہوں نے آکسیجن کی تیاری کے لئے پودوں کو بلاتعطل بجلی کی فراہمی کا بھی مطالبہ کیا ہے۔
اس سے قبل ، وفاقی وزیر برائے منصوبہ بندی ، ترقی ، اصلاحات اور خصوصی اقدامات اسد عمر نے انکشاف کیا تھا کہ اب ملک میں آکسیجن کی فراہمی کی صلاحیت دباؤ کا شکار ہے۔
