Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Aisha Farooqui said at her weekly press conference in Islamabad on Thursday that Pakistan had expressed deep concern over the discriminatory and anti-Muslim policies and practices of the Indian-inspired government. This policy continues regardless of the challenge posed by the corona pandemic.
Aisha Farooqui said the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) has also expressed deep concern about the rise in anti-Muslim sentiment and Islamophobia in political and media circles, as well as on social media platforms where the Indian Muslim minority has been accused of spreading becomes the corona virus.
She stressed that, unfortunately, there is a systematic campaign in India to demonize Muslims who are facing increasing exclusion and the threat of mob violence.
She said the State Department and our overseas missions continue to provide help and support to Pakistanis overseas. The repatriation of Pakistanis continues according to the comprehensive and step-by-step plan developed under the coordination of relevant stakeholders.
She said 5079 Pakistanis were brought back from different countries in the third phase of this plan. In addition, 1,254 Pakistani citizens have been returned across land borders in the past few days, including 41 from India across the Wagah border.

وزارت خارجہ کی ترجمان عائشہ فاروقی نے جمعرات کے روز اسلام آباد میں اپنی ہفتہ وار پریس کانفرنس میں کہا کہ پاکستان نے ہندوستان کی حکومت کی امتیازی اور مسلم مخالف پالیسیوں اور طریقوں پر گہری تشویش کا اظہار کیا ہے۔ یہ پالیسی کورونا وبائی امراض سے لاحق چیلنج سے قطع نظر جاری ہے۔
عائشہ فاروقی نے کہا کہ اسلامی ممالک کی تنظیم (او آئی سی) نے بھی سیاسی و میڈیا حلقوں میں مسلم مخالف جذباتیت اور اسلامو فوبیا کے اضافے پر گہری تشویش کا اظہار کیا ہے ، اسی طرح سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارموں پر جہاں ہندوستانی مسلم اقلیت پر پھیل جانے کا الزام عائد کیا گیا ہے۔
انہوں نے زور دے کر کہا کہ ، بدقسمتی سے ، ہندوستان میں مسلمانوں کو آسیب زدہ کرنے کے لئے ایک منظم مہم چل رہی ہے جنھیں بڑھتے ہوئے اخراج اور تشدد کے خطرے کا سامنا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ محکمہ خارجہ بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں کو مدد فراہم کر رہے ہیں۔ متعلقہ اسٹیک ہولڈرز کے تعاون سے تیار کردہ جامع اور مرحلہ وار منصوبے کے مطابق پاکستانیوں کی وطن واپسی جاری ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اس منصوبے کے تیسرے مرحلے میں 5079 پاکستانیوں کو مختلف ممالک سے واپس لایا گیا۔ اس کے علاوہ ، پچھلے دنوں 1،254 پاکستانی شہری زمینی سرحدوں کے اس پار واپس آئے ہیں ، جن میں واہگہ بارڈر کے اس پار بھارتسے 41 افراد بھی شامل ہیں۔
