4 nations in which Pakistan, China, Russia and Iran participated have reaffirmed their respect for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Afghanistan and the decision of the population about their future and development path.
After a virtual meeting of the four countries’ special representatives on Afghanistan, they welcomed the agreement between two key political leaders in a joint statement and hoped that this important event would speed up the start of the intra-Afghan negotiations.
The four-nation meeting supported the Afghan-led peace and reconciliation process, as integrative intra-Afghan negotiations are the only way to achieve Afghanistan’s national reconciliation, leading to an immediate end to the ongoing conflict.
The declaration showed the determination to support Afghanistan in order to achieve a comprehensive and sustainable peace at an early stage. It also called for the proper and responsible withdrawal of foreign troops so that the situation in Afghanistan changes constantly.
The four nations supported the release of prisoners and detainees from all parties to the conflict in Afghanistan and expressed the hope that UN Security Council Resolution 2513 (2020) could be upheld and implemented.
At the meeting, they also supported the UN Secretary General António Guterres‘ initiative for a universal ceasefire and called for a comprehensive ceasefire to be declared across Afghanistan.

چاروں ممالک کے اجلاس نے “افغان زیرقیادت ، افغان ملکیت” امن اور مفاہمت کے عمل کی حمایت کی کیونکہ داخلی – افغان مذاکرات ہی افغان قومی مفاہمت کا ادراک کرنے کا واحد راستہ ہے جس کی وجہ سے طویل تنازعہ کا فوری خاتمہ ہوتا ہے۔
بیان میں ابتدائی تاریخ میں جامع اور پائیدار امن کے حصول کے لئے افغانستان کی حمایت کرنے کے عزم کو ظاہر کیا گیا ، اس نے غیر ملکی فوجیوں کو منظم اور ذمہ دارانہ انداز میں انخلا کا مطالبہ بھی کیا تاکہ افغانستان کی صورتحال مستقل منتقلی کا سامنا کرے۔
اس میٹنگ میں انہوں نے عالمگیر جنگ بندی کے لئے اقوام متحدہ کے سکریٹری جنرل انتونیو گٹیرس کے اقدام کی بھی حمایت کی اور ایک ساتھ پورے افغانستان میں جنگ بندی کے اعلان کا مطالبہ کیا۔
