4 days ago, a picture of a circular of the fabricated Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) went viral on social media, stating that Suzuki has skyrocketed the prices of its cars. The news spread like wildfire on social media but after confirmation from the company’s regional office, it was later revealed that the news was fake.
The big reason why this news has been swallowed up by a large majority of people is because this is the 6th time that Suzuki has increased the prices of its cars in just 9 months.
The first price increase was on January 1, 2020, where the prices of the entire PSMC car lineup were revised. The second price collision occurred on July 2, 2020, in which, PSMC increased the prices of the entire motorcycle lineup. The third price hit for the Suzuki Alto came on July 6. The fourth price increase for Bolan & Ravi was announced just 3 weeks ago and the 5th price increase in total came when all motorcycle prices were revised. The current price increase is the 6th.
It is pertinent to mention that sales of Pak Suzuki have declined dramatically in the last two months due to the spread of Corona virus. However, automation began to see a slight resurgence in sales data after reducing the lockdown. Still, demand is not ideal due to rising prices. And the latest price is up to a memorable rupee. 1 million (Suzuki Vitara), PSMC’s reputation is in jeopardy.
