Dr. Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, told Monday’s PTV program that the Ehsaas emergency program continued to distribute the money. More than 1.77 million needy families have received transparent financial aid.
Dr. Sania praised the government and said the government had successfully launched the largest ever financial aid program for deserving people in the country’s history, as its fruits would reach poor people across the country.
She said Prime Minister Imran Khan was very concerned about the country’s poor and daily operations, adding that Pakistan needed urgent financial support to cope with the Corona virus outbreak, and the government had announced excellent aid packages, but was more Aid is needed to make it easier for people living below the poverty line.
She said that referring to an overwhelming public response, the program received a welcome response and received millions of text messages. She said deserved families received 12,000 rupees in cash support, adding that the rest of the families with CNIC or thumb problems would get support soon after the NADRA check.
She said that the NADRA office should hopefully start working in the next two days and that the problems related to these problems will be resolved soon.
Dr. Sania Nishtar explained the criteria and said the program was not intended for those who receive a regular salary from a government or a private body.
She said a person’s income was determined on a transparent basis from data about them. For example, people who own automobiles and other valuable assets were not considered for this financial support. She clarified that both motorcycle owners and passport holders are eligible to apply for this program.
The Prime Minister’s special assistant said a new method was developed for people whose fingerprints did not match due to injuries or other problems. In addition, strict measures would be taken against people who used other people’s fingerprints to win money.
She said that all Pakistanis, including minorities, were eligible for this program. This program does not discriminate against any minority in the country.
Dr. Sania Nishtar said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will also launch Ehsaas’ ration program next week, adding that the ration will be distributed after the beneficiaries have been examined. She explained that the NADRA and Ehsaas systems were used to determine eligibility.

ڈاکٹر ثانیہ نشتر نے اس معیار کی وضاحت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس پروگرام کا مقصد ان لوگوں کو امداد دینا نہیں تھا جو کسی سرکاری یا نجی ملازمت سے مستقل تنخواہ وصول کررہے تھے۔
