کور کمانڈرز کانفرنس میں سانحہ سیالکوٹ کا نوٹس
The Corps Commander Conference, while expressing zero tolerance against terrorism and extremism, said that the Sialkot tragedy was a tragic incident. No compromise will be made against such elements.
According to ISPR, a two-day Corps Commanders Conference was held under the chairmanship of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. The global, regional and domestic security situation was discussed at the 245th Corps Commanders Conference held at General Headquarters Rawalpindi.
Expressing satisfaction over the security arrangements made at the borders, the Chief of Army Staff urged to be ready to deal with any threat. General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that global cooperation was needed to avert a humanitarian catastrophe in Afghanistan. International cooperation for peace and stability must continue, because stability in Afghanistan will bring stability to the region.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa also expressed satisfaction over the training activities of the Army and said that the ongoing training process and review of doctrine helps in tackling any emerging challenge, increasing reliance on technology in the future battlefield.
Conference participants also took note of the killing of a Sri Lankan citizen in Sialkot, reiterating that no compromise would be made against such elements and said that such incidents would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
کور کمانڈر کانفرنس نے دہشت گردی اور انتہا پسندی کے خلاف زیرو ٹالرنس کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سانحہ سیالکوٹ ایک المناک واقعہ ہے۔ ایسے عناصر کے خلاف کوئی سمجھوتہ نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق آرمی چیف جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ کی زیر صدارت دو روزہ کور کمانڈرز کانفرنس ہوئی۔ جنرل ہیڈ کوارٹرز راولپنڈی میں منعقدہ 245ویں کور کمانڈرز کانفرنس میں عالمی، علاقائی اور ملکی سلامتی کی صورتحال پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔
آرمی چیف نے سرحدوں پر سیکیورٹی انتظامات پر اطمینان کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کسی بھی خطرے سے نمٹنے کے لیے تیار رہنے پر زور دیا۔ جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ نے کہا کہ افغانستان میں انسانی تباہی سے بچنے کے لیے عالمی تعاون کی ضرورت ہے۔ امن و استحکام کے لیے بین الاقوامی تعاون جاری رہنا چاہیے کیونکہ افغانستان میں استحکام خطے میں استحکام لائے گا۔
جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ نے فوج کی تربیتی سرگرمیوں پر بھی اطمینان کا اظہار کیا اور کہا کہ جاری تربیتی عمل اور نظریے کا جائزہ کسی بھی ابھرتے ہوئے چیلنج سے نمٹنے میں مدد کرتا ہے، مستقبل کے میدان جنگ میں ٹیکنالوجی پر انحصار بڑھتا ہے۔
کانفرنس کے شرکاء نے سیالکوٹ میں سری لنکن شہری کے قتل کا بھی نوٹس لیتے ہوئے اس بات کا اعادہ کیا کہ ایسے عناصر کے خلاف کوئی سمجھوتہ نہیں کیا جائے گا اور کہا کہ ایسے واقعات کو کسی صورت برداشت نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
