New Zealand beat Namibia by 52 runs in Group 2 match in Sharjah today.
When the match started, Namibia won the toss and invited New Zealand to play first. In response, the Kiwis scored 163 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. For New Zealand, James Nishan scored 35 and Glenn Phillips 39 runs. In the innings, captain Ken Williamson scored 28 runs but the openers could not perform well, Martin Guptill scored 18 while Mitchell scored 19 runs.
Namibia started the innings in a positive manner and the opening partnership was 47 runs, but the one-down players did not show any significant performance due to which the Namibia team lost only 111 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

نمیبیا نے اننگز کا آغاز مثبت انداز میں کیا اور 47 رنز کی اوپننگ پارٹنرشپ ہوئی تاہم ون ڈاؤن کھلاڑی کوئی خاص کارکردگی نہ دکھا سکے جس کے باعث نمیبیا کی ٹیم مقررہ 20 اوورز میں 7 وکٹوں کے نقصان پر صرف 111 رنز بنا سکی۔
