نازیہ حسن کے شوہر نے زوہیب حسن کے خلاف مقدمہ دائر کر دیا
Late Nazia Hassan’s husband Mirza Ishtiaq Baig has filed a case in the Sindh High Court for defaming his brother-in-law Zohaib Hasan. He claimed damages of one billion rupees for giving false poison to Nazia Hassan.
In his statement, Nazia Hassan’s husband said that his brother-in-law has been issuing defamatory statements and allegations against him through various forums in print and electronic media.
He claimed that Zohaib Hasan had leveled baseless allegations against him in connection with his sister’s death. Ishtiaq Baig said that Nazia Hassan died after a long battle with cancer. In addition, the cause of death was stated on the death certificate issued by the British authorities.
In his petition, Baig alleged that “the statements of the defendants are not only defamatory but also manipulate facts about the plaintiffs so as to defame them and blackmail them for privileges and benefits.”
He explained all the charges against him, which included divorcing Nazia Hassan, emotionally torturing her, imprisoning her at her residence and poisoning her. Ishtiaq Baig also attached various documents issued by the British authorities to show that the death of Nazia Hasan was a natural death.
Further, he asked the court to restrain the respondent from repeating it in future.
مرحومہ نازیہ حسن کے شوہر مرزا اشتیاق بیگ نے اپنے بہنوئی زوہیب حسن کو بدنام کرنے پر سندھ ہائی کورٹ میں مقدمہ دائر کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے نازیہ حسن کو زہر دینے پر ایک ارب روپے ہرجانے کا دعویٰ کیا۔
اپنے بیان میں نازیہ حسن کے شوہر نے کہا کہ ان کے بہنوئی پرنٹ اور الیکٹرانک میڈیا میں مختلف فورمز کے ذریعے ان کے خلاف ہتک آمیز بیانات اور الزامات جاری کرتے رہے ہیں۔
انہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ زوہیب حسن نے اپنی بہن کی موت کے حوالے سے ان پر بے بنیاد الزامات لگائے ہیں۔ اشتیاق بیگ نے کہا کہ نازیہ حسن کینسر کے ساتھ طویل جنگ کے بعد انتقال کر گئیں۔ اس کے علاوہ برطانوی حکام کی جانب سے جاری کردہ ڈیتھ سرٹیفکیٹ پر موت کی وجہ بتائی گئی۔
اپنی درخواست میں بیگ نے الزام لگایا کہ “مدعا علیہان کے بیانات نہ صرف بدنام کرنے والے ہیں بلکہ مدعی کے بارے میں حقائق میں بھی ہیرا پھیری کرتے ہیں تاکہ انہیں بدنام کیا جائے اور انہیں مراعات اور فوائد کے لیے بلیک میل کیا جائے۔”
اس نے اپنے خلاف لگائے گئے تمام الزامات کی وضاحت کی ، جس میں نازیہ حسن کو طلاق دینا ، اسے جذباتی طور پر اذیت دینا ، اسے اس کی رہائش گاہ پر قید کرنا اور اسے زہر دینا شامل تھا۔ اشتیاق بیگ نے برطانوی حکام کی جانب سے جاری کردہ مختلف دستاویزات بھی منسلک کیں تاکہ یہ ظاہر کیا جا سکے کہ نازیہ حسن کی موت ایک فطری موت تھی۔
مزید یہ کہ اس نے عدالت سے کہا کہ وہ مدعا علیہ کو آئندہ اس کو دہرانے سے روکے۔
