نیب نے ڈی سی کو نواز شریف کی لاہور میں جائیدادیں نیلام کرنے کا حکم دیا
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore on Tuesday asked the city’s deputy commissioner to auction the properties of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to recover the 80 lakh fine imposed on him in the Avenfield case.
According to a letter, the NAB informed the DC that an accountability court in Islamabad had not only convicted Nawaz but also imposed a fine of Rs 80 lakh.
It said that NAB had approached the accountability court seeking justification from the Sharif family in respect of Avenfield Apartment No. 16, 16-A, 17, 17-A in London.
The Anti-Corruption Watchdog informed the court that Nawaz, along with his daughter Maryam and son-in-law Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar, pleaded guilty and sentenced the court for failing to provide a money trail. He also said that former prime minister’s sons Hassan and Hussain have also been named in the case.
The bureau told the DC that Nawaz had challenged his sentence in the Islamabad High Court, which was dismissed. It added that the appeals of Maryam and Safdar are still in court.
It has been said in the letter that the amount of fine imposed by the guilty accountability court on the guilty Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in this regard should be recovered as arrears.
In the letter, NAB has sent a list of various properties of the former prime minister in Lahore, which can be auctioned.
The properties identified include 940 kanals of land at Mouja Manak, 299 kanals at Moza Baduki Sani, 103 kanals at Moza Mall and 312 kanals in Sultanki Lahore. He also pointed to house number 135 in Upper Mall.
Therefore, it is requested that through the auction of the said properties and other properties in the possession of the offender, a sum of Rs. 80 lakhs and the proceeds of the auction should be forwarded to this Bureau, in the form of Demand Draft / Pay Order in favor of Chairman NAB.
The watchdog has asked DC to “immediately look into the matter”.

اس میں کہا گیا کہ نیب نے لندن میں ایون فیلڈ اپارٹمنٹ نمبر 16 ، 16-اے ، 17 ، 17-اے کے حوالے سے شریف خاندان سے جواز کے لیے احتساب عدالت سے رجوع کیا ہے۔
اینٹی کرپشن واچ ڈاگ نے عدالت کو آگاہ کیا کہ نواز نے اپنی بیٹی مریم اور داماد کیپٹن (ر) محمد صفدر کے ساتھ مل کر جرم قبول کیا اور منی ٹریل فراہم کرنے میں ناکامی پر عدالت کو سزا سنائی۔ انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ سابق وزیراعظم کے بیٹوں حسن اور حسین کو بھی کیس میں نامزد کیا گیا ہے۔
بیورو نے ڈی سی کو بتایا کہ نواز نے اپنی سزا کو اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ میں چیلنج کیا تھا جسے خارج کر دیا گیا۔ اس نے مزید کہا کہ مریم اور صفدر کی اپیلیں اب بھی عدالت میں ہیں۔
خط میں کہا گیا ہے کہ مجرم میاں محمد نواز شریف پر مجرم احتساب عدالت کی جانب سے اس حوالے سے عائد کیے گئے جرمانے کی رقم بقایا جات کے طور پر وصول کی جائے۔
خط میں نیب نے سابق وزیراعظم کی لاہور میں مختلف جائیدادوں کی فہرست بھیجی ہے ، جنہیں نیلام کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
جن جائیدادوں کی نشاندہی کی گئی ہے ان میں موضع مانک میں 940 کنال اراضی ، موزہ بدوکی ثانی میں 299 کنال ، موزا مال میں 103 کنال اور سلطانکی لاہور میں 312 کنال اراضی شامل ہیں۔ اس نے اپر مال میں گھر نمبر 135 کی طرف بھی اشارہ کیا۔
لہذا ، درخواست کی جاتی ہے کہ مذکورہ جائیدادوں اور مجرم کے قبضے میں موجود دیگر جائیدادوں کی نیلامی کے ذریعے ، روپے کی رقم 80 لاکھ اور نیلامی کی آمدنی چیئرمین نیب کے حق میں ڈیمانڈ ڈرافٹ / پے آرڈر کی صورت میں اس بیورو کو بھجوائی جائے۔
واچ ڈاگ نے ڈی سی سے کہا ہے کہ “فوری طور پر اس معاملے کو دیکھیں”۔
