شوگر میں 29 ارب سبسڈی کی تحقیقات کے لئے نیب نے سی آئی ٹی تشکیل دینے کا فیصلہ کیا
قومی احتساب بیورو (نیب) نے بدھ کو شوگر کمیشن کی رپورٹ کے نتائج کے مطابق ، 29 ارب روپے سے زائد کی چینی سبسڈی کی غیر جانبدارانہ اور آزادانہ تحقیقات کے لئے مشترکہ تحقیقاتی ٹیم (سی آئی ٹی) بنانے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔
یہ فیصلہ نیب کے چیئرمین جسٹس (ر) جاوید اقبال کے زیر صدارت بدھ کو منعقدہ اجلاس میں کیا گیا جس میں شوگر کمیشن کی رپورٹ کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا۔ اجلاس میں نیب کے ڈپٹی چیئرمین حسین اصغر ، پراسیکیوٹر جنرل احتساب سید اصغر حیدر ، ڈی جی آپریشنز ظاہر شاہ ، راولپنڈی کے ڈی جی عرفان نعیم منگی اور نیب کے دیگر اعلی عہدیدار شریک تھے۔
اجلاس میں چینی سبسڈی کی آزاد ، شفاف ، غیر جانبدار اور میرٹ کی تحقیقات کے لئے نیب راولپنڈی کے تجربہ کار اور محنتی افسران کی سی آئی ٹی تشکیل دینے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا۔
سی آئی ٹی کی نگرانی راولپنڈی نیب کے ڈی جی عرفان نعیم منگی کریں گے اور اس میں دو تفتیشی افسر ، مالیاتی ماہر ، کیس آفیسر / ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر ، قانونی وکیل اور متعلقہ ڈائریکٹرز شامل ہوں گے۔
سی آئی ٹی میں چینی کی صنعت میں تجربہ رکھنے والے ماہرین ، فرانزک ماہرین ، کیس آفیسرز ، اضافی ڈائریکٹرز اور متعلقہ ڈائریکٹرز بھی شامل ہوں گے۔ شفاف تحقیقات کے لئے سی آئی ٹی تمام صوبوں سے شوگر سبسڈی کی مکمل تفصیلات حاصل کرسکے گی۔
سی آئی ٹی ایس ای سی پی سے متعلق کمپنیوں کی قانونی ، مالی اور آڈٹ رپورٹس بھی لے سکے گی۔ اجلاس میں یہ بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ نیب کے چیئرمین جسٹس (ر) جاوید اقبال ، نیب کے ڈپٹی چیئرمین حسین اصغر ، پراسیکیوٹر جنرل احتساب سید اصغر حیدر اور نیب ڈی جی آپریشنز ظاہر شاہ ماہانہ سی آئی ٹی رپورٹ کا جائزہ لیں گے۔
غیر جانبدار ، شفاف اور میرٹ کی تحقیقات کو یقینی بنانے کے لئے ، چینی سبسڈی کے بارے میں تمام متعلقہ تفصیلات سیکیورٹی اینڈ ایکسچینج کمیشن آف پاکستان (ایس ای سی پی) اور دیگر سے طلب کی جائیں گی ، تاکہ شوگر سبسڈی کے معاملے کی مکمل جانچ پڑتال کی جاسکے۔
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) decided on Wednesday to set up a combined investigation team (CIT) for an impartial and independent investigation into the sugar subsidy of over 29 billion rupees, according to the results of the Sugar Commission report.
The decision was made at a meeting on Wednesday under NAB chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal, which examined the Sugar Commission’s report in depth. The meeting was attended by NAB Vice-President Hussain Asghar, Attorney General Syed Asghar Haider, DG Operations Zahir Shah, DG Irfan Naeem Mangi of Rawalpindi and other senior NAB officials.
The meeting decided to set up a CIT made up of experienced and hard-working officials from NAB Rawalpindi to conduct an independent, transparent, neutral and performance-based study of sugar subsidies.
The CIT was supervised by Rawalpindi NAB’s Directorate-General Irfan Naeem Mangi and consisted of two investigators, a financial expert, a clerk / additional director, a legal adviser and the directors concerned.
The CIT will also include experts with experience in the sugar industry, forensic experts, clerks, additional directors and relevant directors. The CIT will be able to obtain all the details of the sugar subsidy from all provinces for a transparent investigation.
The CIT will also be able to produce legal, financial and audit reports from companies related to the SECP. The meeting also decided that NAB chair Justice (R) Javed Iqbal, deputy NAB chair Hussain Asghar, attorney general Syed Asghar Haider and NAB DG Operations Zahir Shah would review the monthly CIT report.
In order to ensure a neutral, transparent and performance-oriented examination, all relevant details on the sugar subsidy would be obtained from the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and others so that the problem of the sugar subsidy can be thoroughly investigated.
