شہباز شریف ، احد چیمہ کے خلاف نیب نے ایل ڈی اے سٹی انکوائری بند کردی
قومی احتساب بیورو نے مسلم لیگ (ن) کے صدر شہباز شریف اور احد چیمہ کے خلاف لاہور ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی سٹی منصوبے سے متعلق تحقیقات کو بند کردیا ہے۔
شہباز اور ایل ڈی اے کے سابق ڈائریکٹر جنرل چیمہ پر ایل ڈی اے سٹی منصوبے میں بدعنوانی کا الزام عائد کیا گیا تھا۔ اینٹی گرافٹ باڈی کے پاس کوئی ثبوت نہ ملنے کے بعد انکوائری بند کردی گئی۔
یہ فیصلہ نیب کے ایگزیکٹو بورڈ کے اجلاس میں کیا گیا ، جس کی صدارت اس کے چیئرمین جسٹس (ر) جاوید اقبال نے کی۔
نیب نے سابق وزیر اعظم نواز شریف کے خلاف رائیونڈ روڈ انکوائری کو بھی تحقیقات میں تبدیل کردیا۔ نواز پر الزام ہے کہ اس نے سڑک کو سرکاری استعمال پر ذاتی استعمال کے لئے تعمیر کرایا تھا۔
جسٹس (ر) اقبال کے مطابق اینٹی گرافٹ باڈی نے بدعنوان افراد سے اب تک 466 ارب روپے کی بازیافت کی ہے۔ وہ ملک سے بدعنوانی کے خاتمے کے لئے ٹھوس اقدامات اٹھا رہی ہے۔
نیب کے سربراہ نے عہدیداروں پر زور دیا کہ وہ تمام شکایات اور انکوائریوں کو اپنے منطقی انجام تک پہنچائیں۔
The National Accountability Bureau has completed an investigation against PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Ahad Cheema in connection with the Lahore Development Authority City project.
Shehbaz and former LDA general manager Cheema have been charged with corruption in the LDA City project. The investigation was completed after the anti-graft body found no evidence.
The decision was made at a meeting of the NAB Board chaired by its Chairman Justice (ret.) Javed Iqbal.
The NAB has also transformed its investigation into Raiwind Road against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif into an investigation. Nawaz is accused of having built the street for personal use at the government’s expense.
According to Justice (retd) Iqbal, the anti-transplant body has so far recovered 466 billion rupees from corrupt people. It is taking concrete measures to eradicate corruption in the country.
The NAB chief asked the officials to bring all complaints and inquiries to a logical conclusion.
