ذوالحج کا چاند نظر نہیں آیا، عیدالاضحی یکم اگست کو منائی جائے گی
مرکزی رویت ہلال کمیٹی کے چیئرمین مفتی منیب الرحمٰن نے منگل کے روز ذوالحج کے چاند نظر آنے کی کوئی اطلاع موصول نہ ہونے کے بعد اعلان کیا کہ عیدالاضحی کا پہلا دن یکم اگست کو پورے پاکستان میں منایا جائے گا۔
رویت ہلال کمیٹی کے چیئرمین نے کہا ، “ہم اس اتفاق رائے پر پہنچ چکے ہیں کہ ذوالحج کے لئے چاند نظر نہیں آیا ، اور عیدالاضحی اب 31 جولائی کو ملک بھر میں منائی جائے گی۔”
اس اعلان سے قبل ملک کے تمام صوبائی دارالحکومتوں میں مرکزی چاند دیکھنے والی کمیٹی اور دیگر زونل کمیٹیوں کے اجلاسوں کے بعد کیا گیا۔
اس نے بتایا کہ ملک میں کسی بھی جگہ سے چاند دیکھنے کے قابل اعتماد خبر نہیں ہے۔
اسلامی ماہ ذی الحج کا آغاز اب 22 جولائی کو ہوگا جبکہ عید الاضحی یکم اگست کو پورے پاکستان میں منائی جائے گی۔
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, chairman of the Central Ruet e Hilal Committee, announced on Tuesday that the first day of Eid-ul-Adha would be celebrated across Pakistan on August 1, after receiving no reports of a sighting of the Zul Hajj moon.
“We have reached a consensus that the moon has not appeared for Zul Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha will now be celebrated across the country on July 31,” said the chairman of the Ruet e Hilal Committee.
The announcement was made after meetings of the Central Moon Sighting Committee and other zonal committees in all the provincial capitals of the country.
He said there was no reliable news of seeing the moon from anywhere in the country.
The Islamic month of Dhi Al-Hajj will now begin on July 22, while Eid al-Adha will be celebrated across Pakistan on August 1.
